Bad sex. New relationship. Small penis

I've met a very nice man who ticks all the boxes, but is absolutely dreadful in bed. I don't think it helps that his penis isn't very big and he also has a bit of a tummy.
He's only slept with a couple of women (we are in our 50s) and literally has no clue! He's very religious (I'm not), so finds it hard to talk about sex. I've had to fake it every time we've had sex as he's so disappointed with himself if I don't cum.
Can old dogs be taught new tricks? I've even intoduced toys but don't enjoy them as he thinks it's a failure on his behalf.
I've had a full filling sex life with other men over the years so I'm sort of astounded that someone can be still be this bad in their 50s.
Constructive and gentle feedback only please.

"Then you get all shirty when someone asks you for more details about your sex life when you have already given a lot of information about your own body."

I got shirty because I don't like being asked personal questions for no proper reason. The personal information came about AFTER I was asked, that's how Q&A's work, isn't it? You don't answer before the question's been asked. Maybe that's how it works in your world, though.

But you offered very personal information without being asked.

No one asked you if you had a small vagina or how big your H's penis was.

If you can find a post saying @YorkshireGoldDrinker 'How big is your vagina? How big is your H's penis?' fair enough.

No one did.

KingfisherBluey · 20/12/2025 15:28

I don't mean to have a go @YorkshireGoldDrinker but it's clear that you're upset and it's maybe hard for you to see how the OP feels.

All the best with the new baby!

Not at all, it's okay. I probably should have left this thread well alone. There was just something about it that rubbed me the wrong way. Something to learn in the new year, I guess.

Thanks!

Hahah I just couldn’t leave not knowing!

I’m going to be looking at men’s hands funny from now on. It’s accurate to DH at least so I believe in your power. 😂

😂😂

How on earth does anyone fake an orgasm? You can actually fake spasms? Or is he SO inexperienced that he really thinks that a few "oohs" and "ahhs" with no spasms is a real orgasm? Sheesh.

If you go the 'method acting' route you can do the internal spasms. Personally I wouldn't reward shit sex with this. It will only generate more shit sex as he thinks he's doing it right.

AquaForce · 20/12/2025 17:01

TBH OP you're running out of time to address this. You'll probably be met with the argument you orgasm every time, so what's the problem? ❤

You definately can. Now I can count my number of partners on my fingers still so not a huge sample I guess. However I am pretty sure penis size/girth follows the same as their fingers.

Short, wide fingers - short, wide penis.

Long, thin fingers - long , thin penis (to be avoided if possible)

Long normal width fingers - long, good girth penis

Also look at their overall build. If they are broad shouldered / solid build/stocky then penis girth is normally good.
If they are skinny all over then penis size seems to be very lacking in girth as well.

Just love this!
current partner has very thick fingers / your method is accurate for him 😂😂😂

Damn I guess it’s a man getting a taste of what it’s like to be a woman. Boo hoo.

Men get online objectifying and criticising women all the time, and actually doing far worse, so I’m not going to feel sorry about it.

Some men do but not all, and you’re making a massive assumption about this man. We as women are better than judging a man on the size of his penis and stomach.

DirtyBird · 20/12/2025 19:38

I hate to admit it but my ex was like this without the religious hangups. He had a small penis and was horrible at sex. I put up with it for years, I don’t really know why. But it was horrible. Now he’s with someone that doesn’t mind his lack of sexual skills and small dick, so I say move on and find someone that you are More compatible with.

I was seeing a guy before , he was good looking , really nice guy , didn’t socialise/ drink too much , was fit , exercised, looked after himself , dressed well , good job , has a lovely home .
He was thoughtful & kind , loved sex !, all the things literally I want in a guy .
I’m afraid though he had the smallest penis I had ever seen in my life 🙈.
I literally could not feel him ! .
It made sex so unenjoyable for me , you wouldn’t mind but he was such an attentive lover to my pleasure, but I couldn’t get past it , It was a deal breaker for me .

DurinsBane · 20/12/2025 21:44

CrackingOn50 · 20/12/2025 09:49

There’s also such a false equivalence comparing men to women re this.

Women’s bodies go through so much shit: childbirth, birth injury, breastfeeding changes, hormonal, menopause, societal pressures that are internalised through misogyny and the fact that women are more likely to be the active parent so are more often less time and responsibility free to exercise and put themselves first etc.

Men don’t have this. It’s like comparing a land rover that’s used as a working vehicle everyday to a rarely driven runaround shiny car and being puzzled why there’s mud/dents/more signs of ‘use’ on the first.

But there is nothing at all he can do about the small penis. There isn’t even a surgery that exists for it (one that works anyway)! That other bits he can help though.

My experience of small, skinny men has been that they are on the larger size. A bit like Dappy from ndubz (have you seen his 😊).

I ditch this guy OP, it doesn’t sound like you’re into him.

Dweetfidilove · 20/12/2025 22:22

Catza · 20/12/2025 09:11

Sorry but what the hell are you doing faking it? That's probably how he got through his previous relationships without much thought. To spare his feelings? They don't need to be spared. Even if he had no penis at all, he could still make you orgasm. Stop faking, let him be "disappointed". He's a big boy, he'll cope.
And maybe, just maybe, he'll do something about it.

I've never understood this thing of faking it, i.e. ensuring you're never satisfied. Who has time for rewarding/perpetuating poor sex?

This is how he got to 50, still crap in bed.

Beachtastic · 20/12/2025 23:03

Physical limitations, not his fault (and potentially resolvable), but lack of effort... meh

Just send him this OP and be done with it 😈

Gosh this is so shallow. I'm just imagining if this was the other way around and the OP complained that his date's boobs were tiny and saggy and the sex was bad? And then other guys swooped in and told the OP to 'throw her back'?

It's the person you're attracted to, not their body.

Totally agree.

What if you find someone your compatible with in bed but you dont get on outside the bedroom.

The perfecto partner dosent exist.

SleeplessInWherever · 20/12/2025 14:28

So you’d have bad sex with someone forever, because they have a nice personality?

One person’s bad sex is another’s preference, I’m sure there’s somebody really enjoying what my ex husband has on offer, for example!

What if you find a man with a big penis but he drinks, cheats on you, wont work, is lazy, verbally abuses you, punches you and do on. Is that ok because his penis is big.

Another idiot who thinks the perfect person exists.🙄

Pryceosh1987 · 21/12/2025 02:57

Tell him how to turn you on, give him instructions while in action.

I wouldn’t be with him either.

It’s actually less to do with size of anything, and more to do with lack of compatibility and any sign of that changing.

But if I was with someone who was great in bed, but verbally and physically abused me… I would leave him.

HTH.

nc43214321 · 21/12/2025 10:25

Yeah it’s never going to work tbh, sad but you will
always be missing the sex that you want, but in the same breath will you ever find someone that ticks
every box.

landlordhell · 21/12/2025 10:28

Are you expecting to cum through penetration alone without you touching yourself? Has never happened to me and doesn’t happen for most women. Can he make you come orally or with his hands?

landlordhell · 21/12/2025 10:30

DurinsBane · 20/12/2025 09:12

Most men in their 50s are going to have a bit of a tummy.

Why? My DH has a six pack at 52. Just saying. 😂
OP I have never faked it. It’s not your partner’s responsibility to make you cum. His small penis should not affect you having an orgasm as PIV rarely results in one. Do his hands and tongue not work?

I think we all know how orgasms work.

It absolutely his responsibility to make sure she also has one, and who on earth is “doing it themselves” in the bedroom.

Men who think sex finishes just because they have need not apply, and we do not endorse them like you just have.

How is it not his responsibility to make sure his sexual partner is enjoying it? Surely that’s an absolute basic for both parties to be invested in the others enjoyment? Otherwise what is the point, may as well have a wank or use a vibrator.
