Photo posted of children without my consent

Hi,
I recently posted about my Narcissistic MIL. She had got angry about me not posting a photograph of her hijacking my two DDs first look at my wedding. She ruined part of my day by sabotaging a first look between my DDs and she can’t seem to understand why I am upset about it and she decided to call me horrible names and say things to belittle me.
Well, yesterday she changed her profile photo on Facebook to the photo I never wanted to post. It wasn’t supposed to happen and she had access to it from a private album of our wedding photos. Where do I stand with this? I have reported it to Facebook for violating my privacy as I haven’t given her consent to post an image of myself and my children, but I haven’t heard anything back yet. I’m just not sure how to take further action.

How did she hijack the first look? What do you mean by the first look exactly? It’s not an expression I’m familiar with wrt weddings.

my eldest daughter wanted my content creator and photographer to capture a first look of me as a bride. My MIL rudely walked into the room with them, going against my wishes. So I decided I didn’t want the photos and videos posted because she went against my wishes. She can’t respect this

I have no idea what you mean by 'first look'? First look at what? Your wedding dress? Your wedding photos? What photo has your MIL posted? How old are your daughter's?

I don't understand the importance of the first look thing. But it's perfectly reasonable to object to someone posting pictures of your kids on the internet without your consent.

It's a completely staged moment where people are forced to put on an over the top display of awe at just how stunning the bride is in her wedding dress.

So your wedding photographer was supposed to capture a picture of you in your wedding dress, before anyone else had saw you? At the time the photographer was taking the picture, your MIL walked into the room, thus being the first person to actually see you? She has now posted a picture on Facebook of that moment, presumably because she took at picture herself at the same time as the photographer? Is that correct? Facebook won't do anything, because your MIL hasn't posted anything offensive.

I'm not sure what a first look is either, is it that you want your DDS to see your dress first ?

If she got hold of private photos then someone gave them to her.

Edit to add that FB won't give a shiney shit, they allow all sorts of disgusting, inappropriate and slanderous stuff so a pic of a dress won't bother them

What is a ‘first look’? Who is looking? I thought the husband had the first look when lifting up the veil?
