Is that you dont not want them to never not use them - or is ok to? .

And I think I have English mock GCSE revision tonight to help my ds. Uless I can think of a good way to get out of it. Oh I just have .

I think I will encourage them to become Drs cos then you dont need to spell or write neatly anyway..

ladylush · 03/06/2008 22:05

or even in a manner that is remotely legible
Hi everyone. Happy belated bday PC. Sorry you are going through a rough time Notagain.

I've been feeling shite about stuff on and off but have just had my formal offer for a new job (in writing)so feeling very happy about that

Right, must catch up...........

WilyWombat · 04/06/2008 10:59

HW "Is that you dont not want them to never not use them" Stop it now - its like nails down a blackboard to me

Still least of my problems with my angel children at the moment - this morning DC called me "fat woman who smells of wee" because I wouldnt give him book club money. Oh the silver tongued devil - that will always get him his own way

Oh happy belated birthday PC

Baffy · 04/06/2008 11:35

Well done LL that's great news

You're all being far to clever on here these days can we not just go back to just being relationship experts and not English experts?! I don't know nothing about English!

I could do with some advice but I really can't post on here.

I can try Facebook tonight. HW would it be ok if I e-mail you sometime too? It's pretty serious and I'm not sure where to start...

Baffy · 04/06/2008 11:36

By the way WW I did have a little chuckle at your ds, how old is he?

Paddlechick666 · 04/06/2008 11:44

baffy, if you email me what you want to put on FB I'll start a thread and cut n paste your email in.

that way you might have some responses by the time you get onto FB tonight.

WW, I thought that was hilarious too!

btw, congrats to all those who've had good news on the job front. well done, i wish i could stay as motivated as you guys.

and thanks for the belated birthday wishes. my sister bought be a goat and 2 chickens which is brilliant. one of those oxfam ethical gift things!

Baffy · 04/06/2008 11:49

thanks PC

I'll try to get onto my e-mail at lunch time

You all need to promise not to shout at me though! Ok?!

And I was just about to ask where you'll keep the Goat in your flat PC so I'm glad you added the last bit!

Hi all

Of Course you can email me anytime - I am a bit nervous of what it can be though .

WW So did your ds get the book money? Or are you not never going to give it to him? .

My pet hate is people who use your instead of you're.
But I know that is a bit rich coming from me as my grammer is terrible .

Love the sound of your pressies PC.
I am hoping to get some chickens for the garden this year - have had them before and they are fun.

Dior have you had the weigh in yet. Also are you around on Sunday as we are having a party and it would be great if you could come (but there will be no dieting).
Well anyone can come if they want if they are willing to travel.

Anniegetyourgun · 04/06/2008 13:08

Dior: oi! PC asked if it was a split infinitive. Otherwise I'd not have said a word.

retires wounded

Baffy · 04/06/2008 13:19

lol Annie

HW I'll send you a really quick message now so you're not worrying and then when I stop getting hassled at work I'll e-mail properly xx

WilyWombat · 04/06/2008 13:22

Hell will freeze over before he gets his book money...and I am now fretting "do I smell of wee"

Someone will need to tell me to get onto facebook...and I have a niggling feeling I know what you may be about to say Baffy - LOL psychic wombat...probably completely wrong of course!

Anniegetyourgun · 04/06/2008 13:24

We non-Facebookers WILL shout at you if we don't get to hear about it eventually.

WilyWombat · 04/06/2008 13:25

That was "how to get onto facebook"

Just had a mental image of PC in green wellies tending her chickens and goat then realised it was an Oxfam gift LOL

HappyWoman · 04/06/2008 13:29

WW I too have a feeling I may know what she is going to say - that bloody gut instinct .

PC - are you able to get more onto facebook? after interegation of course .

Paddlechick666 · 04/06/2008 13:35

sorry, was just out the back coming over all Felicity Kendall and The Good Life but realised at last minute that goat and chickens are actually in Africa! doh!

i have no information to put on FB as yet.

patience ladies, am sure all will be revealed in due course.

otherwise i know where she lives and i'll go and torture it out of her

WilyWombat · 04/06/2008 13:36

Felicity Kendall pmsl

WilyWombat · 04/06/2008 13:39

I think Baffy wants to keep this off of MN.

Baffy · 04/06/2008 13:50

I don't mind everyone here knowing but yes WW you're right I do want to keep this off the board.

Happy for all of you guys to know.

Just not sure who else in the real world could be reading this and not posting.
IYKWIM!

That message from a while ago where someone knew exactly who I am in RL and didn't explain who they were is still freaking me out!

Give me all your phone numbers and I'll ring or text you with an update!!

Paddlechick666 · 04/06/2008 13:53

WW, get a goat then you can blame any lingering wee smell on that!

WilyWombat · 04/06/2008 13:57

Baffy you just want to sell us double glazing/insurance..go on own up

WilyWombat · 04/06/2008 13:57

Nah PC I just blame the children or the dog for everything

Anniegetyourgun · 04/06/2008 14:11

Yes, I understand that and I do remember the cyberstalker freaking you out. wanders off to see how the CAT thing works

HappyWoman · 04/06/2008 14:13

Baffy

Think you are right - there are a lot of people who do read these and i sometimes wonder how much info to give out.

PC got your message too but cant seem to reply to it on FB - I do agree - what about if we did get email adresses ect and all but met up? Failing that we could arange another meet up????

HappyWoman · 04/06/2008 14:15
