ladylush · 12/06/2008 14:07

I hope she gets VD - then I will believe in Karma

TimeForMe · 12/06/2008 14:25

oh you are norty!

lilyloo · 12/06/2008 14:28

TFM hope you get it sorted lol at the [westlife tickets] am sure hey could bung you a couple of those as comp

PC i would say go fot it am sure dd would love it , my friend did Australia in a camper van with her 3 year old on her own for 6 mths. She loved it and made lot's of friends she found people more open and helpful because of her lo. I think at that age they remember a lot more than you give them credit for and adapt very easily. Is there no way you could take a lump of your holidays together to see how it goes first off ?

HW sorry your finding things so hard, but i agree with the others at least this will be the closure you need.

TFM - that is exactly the sort of thoughts i have had today - spooky.

But great news for you all - had an email from ernest and she has had a baby GIRL.

She is only just out of hospital after a c-s. so a bit sore but enjoying the cuddles.

Makes my problems seem so tiny in comparision to that fantastic news - feel all goooy inside now (probably broody )
In fact i think h is too but as he has had the snip he says he would even consider me just going and getting preg. It would kill 2 birds with one stone - revenge shag and baby. .
Me thinks need to find suitable handsome donor and then go on pill .
And it wouldnt be cheating as H has already approved. .

Come on LL have those thoughts instead of the evil ones with me.

Baffy · 12/06/2008 17:32

Wow that's great news about Ernest. Finally a baby girl too
I love it when we have happy news.

Look at the positives that have come out of so much heartache. All these lovely little babies are just the start of it I'm sure

HW go for it! Go on, go on! I dare you!

Baffy · 12/06/2008 17:35

Oops just realised that I may sound like one of those people who would have said, ooh another BOY if Ernest had had a boy.... did you all see the thread about that? People's insensitive remarks over the sex of the baby.

I'm sure Ernest would have been delighted either way, but I bet with all those boys it will be lovely to have some pink in the house and someone on her side!

Well done TFM and from a man too I completely agree he must have been watching you

sunshinegirl · 12/06/2008 20:09

Hi all

Hope you're all ok & surviving. Trying to catch up on here once again after absence!! Finally moved house a few weeks ago & only just got internet back (bloody BT AGAIN!)

Congratulations to Ernest! Good news

Life's ok here, bit strange but getting to grips with single-parent-hood slowly.

Hope to catch up properly with you all soon,

Lots of love xxx

ladylush · 13/06/2008 09:48

TFM could it be a Mumsnet romance?

lilyloo · 13/06/2008 09:51

Has anyone seen this thread TFM some wise words please

ladylush · 13/06/2008 10:33

I saw it lily. Made me feel sick tbh.

lilyloo · 13/06/2008 10:38

LL is the op for real ? I guess she has never been through that then ? She really has no idea i was at her comments tbh!

ladylush · 13/06/2008 10:42

Stupid I reckon. Either trying to stir up a debate or just stupid.

lilyloo · 13/06/2008 10:47

'stupid' and 'stirring' yes!

WilyWombat · 13/06/2008 10:54

Oh we seem to be getting quite a few of these recently dont we.

Did you see the one where the op wanted to know if she should go away to an "exclusive" resort on holiday with her tedious husband, lover and his "fluffy" girlfriend. I tell myself it MUST be made up because surely no one is THAT horrible...im kidding myself arent I - these people really exist and they really are THAT foul.

I couldnt resist being a little wicked on that one hopefully next time he kisses her it will stick in her mind LOL

lilyloo · 13/06/2008 11:25

Thankfully missed that one WW , do people like that really exist ?

WilyWombat · 13/06/2008 11:29

Selfish people...who go after what they want regardless of moral implications and with no empathy or regret for the hurt they cause. Unfortunately yes they do exist but despite how cosmopolitan and modern they think they are they are still in the minority and id still rather be me

lilyloo · 13/06/2008 11:32

yeah i may be naive but i could never go there !

WilyWombat · 13/06/2008 11:35

Anyone "could" go there its just those of us who have more of a conscience "choose" not to.
