He's disappeared after I sent a pic of myself

Hi 👋 I just needed somewhere to vent this .
I met a man two months ago ( so he has seen what I look like face to face ) while I was out with friends for my birthday drinks.
We chatted, flirted & swapped numbers.
Since then we have been chatting back and forth, we've also arranged to meet up next week.
We added each other on social media also.
So lots of pics of me on there for him to see and vice versa.
He sent me a photo of himself at work yesterday morning, I had a day off and was out walking , I sent one back. It wasn't the most glamorous pic, but very natural and I look like myself still.
He instantly msg back wow you look stunning 😍 I then msg back thank u and he said he had to go back to work .
I said enjoy your day.
He hasn't msg since then, nothing. It seems he has ghosted me.
I just feel a bit low as I have a feeling it was the pic I sent him 😔 it's got me feeling all insecure , I've showed the pic to two very honest friends and they have said its a lovely photo , they would say if it was bad.
He obviously didn't like it 🙄

He's already seen you, you've met up. If he has ghosted you then that's on him, it has absolutely nothing to do with your photo.

Why would you think he didn't like it when he actually complimented you on it?

Firstly it’s unlikely that’s the reason he’s not been in touch but if it is he’s simply not the right man for you.

there are a million reasons for the silence and he may well be back soon, but if not then again he’s not right for you and whilst that’s disappointing it better to know now.

Given that he's seen you in person, I highly doubt that it's your photo that's caused him to ghost you.

I can't fathom why he would say that you looked 'stunning' if he didn't like the photo. He would have said something like "Aww you look lovely" instead.

If he is ghosting then it's something to do with him not you.

I have previously ghosted an absolute 10/10 stunning man. It just wasn't the right time and I felt overwhelmed. Nothing whatsoever to do with him.

It's horrible isn't it? My photos aren't filtered either. I don't see the point of using them as it's not what I look like. Also like I said he's met me! I was quite dressed up and glamorous that evening tbf , however there is a mix of pics on my social media.
I think filters on everyone else's pics make men think we should all look "perfect" I'm sorry this also happened to you, it's quite disheartening x
