Just this, really, and why or why not?

No.
but facial tattoos would…

ForgettingMeNot · 13/10/2024 13:08

Yes. They fade over the years and then look horrid.

I'd never get one and it's actually a deal breaker for me. But then so is smoking too

I'm happily single. No surprised there!

StarSlinger · 13/10/2024 13:08

No, I like tattoos.

MrsSkylerWhite · 13/10/2024 13:08

Yes.

Arlanymor · 13/10/2024 13:09

Not in the least. I have four tattoos of my own.

No33 · 13/10/2024 13:09

No

SquatWeightaMinute · 13/10/2024 13:10

I find tattoos sexy so they wouldn’t put me off unless they were really bad or on the face. My DH has a very small neck tattoo but face tattoos are a line for me.

dixon86 · 13/10/2024 13:11

Yes. Tattoos are very common and chavvy

Summerhillsquare · 13/10/2024 13:11

Nope, unless neck or face or full coverage.

sammylady37 · 13/10/2024 13:12

Yes, I find tattoos repulsive. But I’m sure many guys would find my unblemished skin equally repulsive so each to their own!

BananaGrapeMelon · 13/10/2024 13:13

Yes, personally I don't find them attractive at all. A small discreet one would be ok.

CheeryUser · 13/10/2024 13:13

I don’t have any or like them so potentially but obviously depends on the tattoo.

Craftyroom · 13/10/2024 13:13

Yes if they were on the face and especially those horrible neck ones.

A small one on the arm would be ok, though in general I'm not keen on tattoos.

SunsetSkylane · 13/10/2024 13:13

No, I find them pretty hot. I actually have quite a thing for neck tattoos but can't see they wouldn't be for everyone!

Jsogs · 13/10/2024 13:14

Yup unless maybe one on an upper arm and a fairly inoffensive black one. I like to travel to Japan and they'd not be allowed in many onsens.

StarSlinger · 13/10/2024 13:16

dixon86 · 13/10/2024 13:11

Yes. Tattoos are very common and chavvy

🤣

TubeScreamer · 13/10/2024 13:19

Yes
I don’t like the look of them

RumNotRun · 13/10/2024 13:20

It would entirely depend on the quality. Shitty Love Island type done to get max coverage ASAP cause it's "fashionable", done by your mate or the local place - yes that would put me off.

Beautifully created pieces of art, obtained by researching styles, artists, and potentially travelling to find the right artist for the style you want? That would float my boat.

Sadly round here it's predominantly the first type which is a good reason that I remain resolutely single.

LonelyInDville · 13/10/2024 13:22

No I love tats as long as they below the neck

JC03745 · 13/10/2024 13:22

Yes.

I broke up with a guy who had several, but hidden. He got a 3rd dog portrait done- because he thought I'd like it. I didn't! (There were other issues obviously!)

Strange that my oncologist has tattoos. He’s not chavy!

SatinHeart · 13/10/2024 13:23

A couple of good quality ones are ok I guess.
Personally I don't like full sleeve ones and would definitely be put off if a guy had one.

marshmallowfinder · 13/10/2024 13:24

StarSlinger · 13/10/2024 13:16

🤣

Yes, they look scrotey and rough. But obviously people feel differently. We all like different things.

Onlyonekenobe · 13/10/2024 13:24

Yes, I find the thought process behind inking yourself very unattractive.

Clearinguptheclutter · 13/10/2024 13:25

Totally depends. Some small ones with nice designs (common on women, less so on men) - fine
arms covered- unlikely

I think they are generally becoming more socially acceptable though
