Asking a tradesman out after doing job

userhelp · 24/09/2024 13:54

Had a tradesman around to do a job, got on well lots of chatting about ourselves, life's etc definitely a bit of flirting, he even made a comment about taking me out at weekend which I kind of pretend I didn't hear as was embarrassed

Would it be cringe of me to text asking for a drink? I mean I figure I haven't ever got to see again if they say no 🤷‍♀️

We're both in your early 40's and single

ChinUpChestOut well I actually met him when he was going the job in leggings, sweatshirt, fluffy slippers, hair tied back and no make up so I feel like anything will be a improvement Grin

I haven't really thought about it... jeans, and shirt or something were meeting Sunday afternoon in a town in between us for a few drinks and some food so smart/casual really

Any suggestions? I'm 5'6, size 8, blonde and early 40's if that helps

5" heels, tight jeans, a crop top, and hair down.

I have a friend who had some carpets fitted; the carpet fitter never went home. Hope it goes well OP.

I hope she got her underfelt 😁

Never heard it called an outcome before but now it seems entirely right.

Poppyfun1 · 28/09/2024 20:46

Poppyfun1 · 28/09/2024 20:47

tolerable · 28/09/2024 21:06

as long as you already paid him.x

Voneska · 28/09/2024 21:20

Be careful as this is one step down from a cheeky window cleaner. He is probably well aware that you enjoyed. His company. If you phoned him to get the job done then he already has your number. If I was you I WOUKD NOT EXPRESS AN INTEREST rather message him to thank him for a good job done . These workmen are well aware of lonely customers and DELIVERATELY FLIRT WITH PLEENTY BANTER to get more jobs. Don't approach directly as it tantamount to desperation. Sorry to be blunt. Don't shoot me.

comedycentral · 28/09/2024 21:22

Good luck for the date tomorrow!

Awww, this is lovely. I read a similar thread a few years back where a poster had been widowed and had DC, then met a tradesman through a job at her house. They got together and had a baby, it was all very heartwarming.

Hope your story goes the same ❤️❤️❤️
