Underneath and around my bed was an incredible mess and I gave it a good clean out. And at the bottom, far too clean, undusty and uncreased to have been there for more than a few days was this horrendous sexy elf outfit. I asked my husband about it and he said he’d bought it for me last year, and I’d forgotten about it.

I accepted this, thought it just got shoved in an odd corner. I’m never in a million years wear it. Then this happened….

How could you sleep with so much mess around and under your bed the contents of which (that outfit) you weren’t even aware of? My bed might have a bit of dust underneath but that’s about all

Are you getting help with the ADHD - have you spoken to your Dr about it?

But my husband works nights so is at home alone all day while the children and I are at school, work or on days out, he has plenty of time to see one at our home.

Because I don’t know. We have entirely separate finances. Always have. I don’t know for certain he uses sex workers or what he spends his money on. All I know for certain is that he’s a habitual liar.

Also as I pointed out later in the thread (under my username with an s added), me and one of my children have a disability and would find it extremely hard to cope without his practical support.

You say you don't know if he's sleeping with other women or not, so how do you explain the thong on your bed ?

My husband bought the outfit. Presumably for an encounter. I imagine she came and left in normal clothes. I mean, she’s not going to want to take that manky dress home, is she? She probably ditched it as quickly as humanly possible and tried her hardest to forget ever existed

Not true sex workers don’t make house calls alone. Emily Sanderson was murdered in May this year by a client she knew and thought was safe for a solo call.

I was trying to answer but the thread was suspended before I could. Only the white part is visible when it’s hanging on the bedpost and I have ADHD which means I don’t notice a lot of things other people do.

i can literally be walking round the house looking for something and it’s in my hand. I only got diagnosed in August and no meds yet. I’m working on the non-meds side of things but that takes time.

ADHD in many cases makes you very unobservant including mine.

Say, a smear on a kitchen counter. NT people will see it and instantly wipe it and I wouldn’t even notice it was there. I have to literally write down and schedule every household chore because I’d never notice they needed doing otherwise. I can have one pink shoe and be desperately looking for the other one and it’ll be right next to me. I honestly cannot help it, just how how my brain malfunctions.

But now that you have seen it and it's not yours, what are you going to do?
