For me it's the fear of getting to the "let's meet your friends" stage and having no one to introduce them to.

I have a DD who is ND, never likely to live by herself and no local family support .
Menopause killed my sex drive.
I like being able to do just what DD and I want when we want.
I have a habit of falling for unsuitable men.
Most single men my age are a bit grim or looking for younger women.
Sometimes I do think it would be nice to have another adult to share things with but then I think of all the negatives and it soon passes.
Online dating sounds like hell on earth.

No-one wants to go out with me.

Same here. Nudging 60 and widowed so I'm not a great catch really. 😪

After a few months of being unwell, I've rediscovered the teenage art of daydreaming.

I'm in my 50s. I'm in this fabulous relationship with a man who makes me happy. We get on, we argue, we make up, his family are well behaved, we're financially comfortable, and the offspring are happy.

He's a vast improvement on the exh, and it beats the crap that is my daily life, while making the commute to work so much more bearable🤣

Can't ever imagine going back to looking for real, genuine, man. I don't honestly think they exist anymore.
