Go on tell me the worst things said to you by a mother in law?

Not saying they all bad btw I’ve had a couple of nice ones previously when younger.

Ive had pretty a pretty bad week with mine but I’ve decided I’m over it all now!

Nearly as bad as my DM...My DS22 and DD18 were sat next to each other at the dinner table with DS lounging with his arm over the back of DDs (his sisters) chair. My DM comments "look at those two looking all lovey dovey; they could almost be a couple couldn't they" DS whipped his arm off DD's chair and sat bolt up right.

I told my DM not to say such bloody disgusting things and cleared the table. They left soon after. I mean who the fuck thinks these things?!?!

My own mother: "I don't know why we called you SharpWriter - I'm really sorry"

And to my brother after the birth of his first child: "I hated every minute of being a parent"

She was a good person (and mother!) - just had no filter.

My SIL had a life changing accident as a result of her landlords effort to save money. ( Terrible, terrible facial burns)Visiting her In ICU, our MIL said. "Well, I hope he sorts it out, the next tenant could get REALLY hurt".

My MIL said of people who had the same condition as me, no one wanted them and they all died. That I am trapped and unhappy. That’s just the stuff I feel able to type!

I got a lot of racist jokes sent by text from an unknown number. I’m half Asian.
It was my ex mother in law. (I was still with her son at the time and she didn’t particularly like me for a reason I’ll never know.)

And when we've finished with this, how about worst DIL comments? Go!
