I send someone a WhatsApp message 1 day ago and he’s not opened the message but I can see he’s been online. Is it possible he’s not got the message or is he ignoring me ?

If you met him through online dating, he will be talking to other women, and he's more interested in them at the moment.

Tbh you probably dodged a bullet. Sounds really up his own arse sending you a video of himself playing guitar.

How did you know him? I'm getting the impression this is someone you were chatting to from OLD but hadn't met yet? If that's the case, you seem way too emotionally invested and you've given him way too much power over you.

I'm being presumptuous and apologies if this is harsh, I just hate to see a woman driving herself mad obsessing over messages, last seens, and blue ticks over a man who honestly sounds like a loser anyway.

I was wondering what the issue was with the bloke sending a video of himself playing a guitar. So no-one has ever done that to me.

But, I have now remembered that I had someone serenade me once. Dear lawd, I got the instant ick.

So I assume this is in a same category then 😀

(for some, clearly not the OP as this guitar playing has got her all on a wobble).

@Highlighta it's not quite the same as a serenade, which is ick-worthy due to how incredibly corny it is.

I don't get the impression that this guy was serenading OP. It was more like "check out my skills and tell me how good I am". It's just show-offy, arrogant, and self-absorbed.

He was actually telling me how he was still learning to play and I said in a jokey way that I’d like to hear him play and if he wanted he could send me a recording 😂anyway he said he was still learning then a day later he send me a video recording I replied and he sent me a hand shape heart emoji.

That was on Saturday at 00.40 then I replied at 1 am asking how his day had gone.

Did you respond to the video of him playing or brush it aside?

Just wondering whether he expected some validation or something...

Bit weird to respond with that emoji when someone's asked how days going.

When he sent the video I answered back he then sent me 🫶 I then asked him how his day had been and I’ve heard nothing since !!!!!

Okay. So you could look at it as he got a ego stroke if you were positive, assuming the emoji and that's all he wanted.

Either way it's been too long now for him to claim ignorance and likely he's a waste of time.
