We should all be looking after our sexual health as much as possible and to what suits our situation.

I definitely think that condoms should be used until you really know someone and you have STI results back (and know whether you're exclusive).
After that its up to each individual but never assume you won't catch anything because you might.

I know its hard not to get caught up in the moment but the long term consequences can be devastating.

@OnceRuralNowUrbanbliss the time to order them is now - just regard it as part of your general health care. You wouldn't skip a smear test so why not do this too? You can take one now, get to know the process, understand the results then you can bring it up quite naturally in conversation... 'I do regular sexual health screening tests and I am glad to share that I don't currently have any infections. How often do you do yours?'

Good idea about the assorted boxes. I think they come in narrow, medium and wider with the length being irrelevant as silicon is infinite stretchy.
