Are all men this gross

Ughhhh I've just found out that my partner pees in the garden because he can't be bothered to go upstairs to the bathroom. It's most nights I think although he denied it then admitted it then denied it. .
I actually feel sick and hate the fact he lies about it too.
I hate lying and I hate the thought that he thinks this is ok 🤮

@dworky…..I work in construction and have done for 20+ years. This is absolutely not true. They are admittedly a bit shit at flushing the loo, but they do not piss in anyone’s sink. Anyone who did would be called out by the rest of the blokes and sacked immediately. I’ve seen some fairly gross stuff but I’ve never seen that!

BobLemon · 26/09/2021 15:31

I’ve asked my OH to do it, because the compost is looking a bit dry!

I grew up in a farming community and it’s pretty normal (at home I mean, not while out on a farm).

@Squeakycatflap

Mine tries to top up the birdbath from the patio door.
With tap water I hope 🤞

@Eesha

Someone I know regularly pees in the kitchen sink. He has a bedroom downstairs next to the kitchen. Parents upstairs.
Bleeurghhh that's even worse Confused

My alcoholic ex used to stay up all night so he could drink.

I caught him pissing in the kitchen sink one morning, when I came downstairs to go to work. His excuse was that it was too far to go upstairs and he didn't realise I was awake... and that's when I realised he must have done it all the time when I was asleep.

I'd like to say that was the straw that broke the camel's back, but I stayed for almost a year longer after that. But it was definitely the turning point for me.

And yet this if fine somehow ?
Woman and dog sharing a widdling moment

summerstayawhile · 26/09/2021 15:45

@LaBellina

My ex had the tendency to clip his nails on the sofa in front of the tv and would often leave the ‘harvest’ on the floor next to his dirty socks where I’d find them then the next morning. Just one of the reasons why he’s an ex.
🤢🤢 that's disgusting! I often find dirty socks on the floor or even on the kitchen side on occasion!

No, I think that's pretty grim also.

I don't think anyone who thinks one is gross would think the other is ok!

In fact hygiene wise I think it's more gross, due to the logistics of a woman weeing and proximity to the ground / drain (?!) required!

Notmoresugar · 26/09/2021 16:00

It's sheer laziness and gross.

My husband shoves her finger clippings down the back of the sofa for me to find, stuck to the wall or the sofa fabric, when I move it for a deep clean. We are still married. For now.
LaBellina · 26/09/2021 16:02

Grin for now.

You must really love him!

Moonmagic24 · 26/09/2021 16:02

@Paddington2

I'd far rather a human pee in my garden, than a dog, yet millions of you see no problem with dogs pissing everywhere.

It's probably better for the environment that he pees outside, saves flushing and using up water.
Would not faze me one bit. Nose picking, though, gross.

Yes, I will second this!

I pee in every town/city I visit, abroad, car parks, woodland, in my shower, common land and just about everywhere I walk.

UK public toilets are the worst I have ever experienced - It is fairly self-explanatory.

TillyTopper · 26/09/2021 16:23

That would be a deal breaker for me and I don't think it's normal at all. DP it very clean - always clears up any mess, would never pee in the garden and carries dettol wet wipes in the car to cover all eventualities. Sorry, but I'd find someone who was a lot cleaning than that!

Tiramiwho · 26/09/2021 16:24

Not all men are the same. A male family member spotted friends of our next door neighbours weeing in their front garden when the neighbours weren't home one day and was disgusting.

However, one of my very significant Exs' blew his snotty, bloody nose into the bathroom sink one morning and left it there 🤬
He returned home from work that night and was ordered to bloody well clean it up!
I had a fling with another guy -from the same country as my ex - who did this in a hotel bathroom too. Wondered if it was cultural?
Gross beyond words Angry

Tiramiwho · 26/09/2021 16:25

was disgusted

You must be a delight to be around.

Miseryl · 26/09/2021 17:03

Does he wash his hands after? 🤢

Gothichouse40 · 26/09/2021 17:16

No, Im sorry, that is disgusting and I hope no children play in said garden. My husband has never done that in his life.

DillonPanthersTexas · 26/09/2021 17:26

The only time I peed in the garden was when my wife had spent so long in the (only) bathroom one Sunday morning I was about to wet myself .

Hen2018 · 26/09/2021 17:33

I grew up in the countryside and honestly thought all men did a wee outside now and again!

Where do posters wee if taking a long walk?!

Peanutsandchilli · 26/09/2021 17:33

I really do question the thought processes of people who feel that pissing in the garden is preferable to walking the few steps to the toilet. It's abnormal.

DillonPanthersTexas · 26/09/2021 17:39

Women don't wee or fart, don't you know?

liveforsummer · 26/09/2021 17:41

Getting caught short in the middle of nowhere now and again on a walk and peeing behind a bush in an open expanse is hardly the same as pissing on the same spot every night in an enclosed garden belonging to a home. How can you think it is?

In the garden tho? When there's a perfectly good toilet inside?

If you're out hiking and there's nowhere to go, then needs must - but I'd prefer using a public loo or getting something at a cafe and using theirs.
