I was feeling a little guilty because I'd unmatched without explanation but that's the beauty of the app, isn't it?

I'm guessing he found me using Google images search?

This is why I use a different photo on OLD than I have on FB or other social media.

Noone has ever found me from OLD to social media. Also, I use a different name on OLD and don't list my job explicitly.

And yes, just delete and block him. He sounds unhinged.

My spare room is starting to look okay. It could do with a lick of paint but I can do that another time(I'll have a look in B&Q tomorrow). Just need to clean the skirting boards and get the mould off the window frame and sill.

Can anyone recommend a decent stain remover for carpet, it needs replacing but I don't have the spare money for that(and there is a rust stain) so if I could get the stains out I will be happy as I can put rugs down.

I just can't believe someone could leave a room like that.

Maybe by the time I'm done, Mr Cricket might be free and back to his chatty self.

I love the Dr Beckmann carpet cleaner, with the big brush fixed to the top. It's the only one that's worked for my carpets and sofas.

Right, I've dumped Mr BE's stuff outside his house. He ignored me knocking but when I drove past a bit later he's taken it all inside effing immature twat. And I've deleted his number. Meanwhile, 7 matches on tinder and not one message. What is the bloody point?!

Morning everyone.... so its date zero with Mr Talker tonight ...i feel nervous. The fact he had told me he is also chatting to someone else has piled on the pressure. Oh well...he either likes me or he doesnt...i might not like him!!

Regardless of whether he's talking to someone else, you either click or you don't. I knew with Mr Deep within 30 seconds that I just didn't fancy him. I must admit that I relaxed immediately then!

Remember it's as much about whether you fancy him as him fancying you.

I was looking forward to an update on this one...At least the young blokes that came to my house were on time, polite and took their shoes off at the door without me asking.

Absolutely feeling your pain here today too (without the eye candy element). Had a painter due to come and give an estimate 9am this morning - he's not turned up, not called, not answered my v/m. I never have good experiences with tradespeople- in any other business the lack of customer service wouldn't be tolerated, but in trades it seems to be the norm.

A quick update from me.

I finally caught up with Mr Accountant on the phone last night. I'm not really feeling it.

He sounded really nervous and finished my sentences for me a few times. I actually felt like I was being interviewed for a job, which was weird. It was very clinical, no flirting except when he arkwardly told me how much he liked my pictures. He wants to meet up for a drink. I said maybe a coffee and I'll get back to him. He seems sweet and harmless enough...

Has anyone on here had a kind of stilted conversation about career prospects on the phone with an iron which has translated into a good date zero IRL? Nope, I thought not. I might swerve this one.

@Dropdeadfred2 is there some dressed up version of your jeans and tshirt combo that you can wear 😁 so you feel comfortable but "nice". I struggle with inbetween styles I'm usually either really casual or too dressy on dates. Have you have a try on session to see your options!

I'm off for a try on now, I'm trying to get prepared for going out tomorrow 😅

Do you have an IRL arrangement set up? I wonder whether he is just one of these people who is better in real life?
Sweeping generalisation klaxon 📢 but accountants aren't renowned for their party animal extrovert personalities and perhaps the phone environment just means he's falling into more of a professional mode than a personal one.
Appreciate that equally you could find you're doing all the legwork in a real life meeting too, but it's easier to get the non verbal cues in person and you did see something of a spark about his profile and the chat to date. Could it be worth a coffee before writing it off?
