Oh well I lasted until lunchtime and have deleted Tinder, I couldn't even be bothered with making small talk🤣. Not sure where I'm going to meet someone but I don't think it will be on an app.
@Isitreallyme177 I feel the same as you. I'm still on Tinder, but am using it for just chatty type of conversations, rather than dating and relationships chat. I'm just finding it a bit hard to think of getting 'mr right' at this moment.

I'm talking to a guy at the moment (started taking last night) and we had a great conversation about books and reading last night, and now he's sending me all this 'good morning, lots of hugs on this day ahead' messages, and I'm just feeling a bit 'meh' about it. ❤️

I made it to the gym, I feel better already and it is soooo good to be back. I even managed the plank, I might pay for that tomorrow when my toe says "bitch what did you do that for"😅. I have missed it so much and my head is already in a better place. I'm actually smiling and happy, it was good to be back in my happy place again.

@OnwardsEverStridingOnwards it is dire on Tinder I had few messages with a couple and I couldn't cope with the lack of communication skills.

It's awful on there at the moment. All the people who have matched with me are either too young, (think eighteen and nineteen year olds) too old, or not my type.

I'm not upset or anything. don't think it's my time to meet someone yet and I don't want to date someone for the sake of it ❤️

On the topic of putting your hand back in the fire to see if it's still hot... Things weren't left cut and dried with Mr Blue Eyes and I've been trying to get in touch with him, partly to return some stuff. But he's ignoring me. Helpful. I know there will be others, but I still hold onto the potential of what I have - even what that's minimal! :(

Get better soon, @Belladi. I know how you feel. When I'm on my time of the month, I feel really unwell and it effects my whole body.

My potential is still messaging me, I've logged out of Tinder on my phone to prevent my notifications coming up. I've a feeling that the constant messaging could get annoying. He got a little pushy when I said that I wanted to go to bed last night too.

I feel like I'm a right miserable bitch writing all this. I know I should feel lucky, but I just can't be bothered at the moment. ❤️

It's now been since 1st August with Mr Penpal. He was last to message.

So I messaged him yesterday and he didn't reply immediately so I deleted the messages but he probably saw them. I didn't say much

Hello! New too the thread! I'm having a wobble about my policy to not share my number until I've met someone in person, I don't have a separate number for dating and so it feels too scary for me!

Is that standard practice or am I being odd?

Some of the bot-type profiles I've encountered asked for a number ridiculously early. I was quite happy to say 'I'd prefer to keep the chat here for now' and that weeded out the scammers quickly. On the other hand I chatted on-app for someone for a week, it was obvious they were genuine and so it was fine when it was suggested to move to WhatsApp. I think a bit of this is down to your instinct.

My chat with a potential on bumble has faded as I can't be bothered to carry the conversation. He isn't asking me anything so oh well.
A potential that had moved to WhatsApp is now being a sex pest and isn't taking I don't talk about sex with men I have never met for an answer so he is going to be blocked.
An old potential from last year has popped up and now I remember why we never met. He has his day job and then streams on twitch every evening so has 0 time to meet.

I'm going to take all of September and the first week in October off the apps

I had such high hopes .... within the first five minutes he told me he had the police at his door last week and he was taken for questioning over racist and homophobic comments he put on Facebook 😳

He then went on to talk about how he wanted to give up his job and breed his 5 dogs for a living and also how he had so many cars and motorbikes in his garages just collecting dust ...

I couldn't get away quick enough 🤦🏻‍♀️
