A year in... intimacy on holiday

Our first holiday on our own together. Getting on brilliantly . We are both exhausted from busy work/ kids lives . Both divorced . Both late forties . BUT..we've only really been intimate twice since Friday . He keeps nodding off at random hours . I feel neglected sexually . Plenty of hugs, kissing and hand holding but very little sexual interest from him as he is so tired .
I have been probably ' giving ' too much to the detriment of my own needs and wants but right now I feel like not bothering as it's a little one sided at the moment.
I've said this , he agrees that he's been too knackered to engage or more to the point reciprocate .. but made the effort afterwards . Am I being unreasonable here please ?

How old are you @username18702? Considerably younger than late 40s I’d hazard a guess!

Are there any hot men around? Just a thought 😂

Tbh honest all this sounds very sexually one sided, with you being the one doing all the work. However you say he is not normally like this.
When you mention breathing difficulties is this due to his weight?

I can see why giving 2 blowjobs without returning the favour would cheese you off. He should not accept if he has no intention of giving back.
You could try doing that after other things, rather than before, then you've already had your fun before giving.
Being 40's and breathless, not normal, he needs to see GP about that. It should be taken seriously.
Having said all that, 2 shags in 4 days, is not bad going, and given your still generally affectionate, I think you have quite high demands and a fragile ego if it makes you feel neglected, that's more your issue than his.

I don't think you are compatible really he clearly either isn't in to you or doesn't have the same sex drive either way I can't see how this is going to work

But you also need to stop being so needy

There is more to life than sex

I really think you are best off calling it a day and finding someone more aligned with yourself in regards to needs and expectations. That would be the fairest thing for both of you. If I went on holiday and someone wanted sex every second day, let alone every day I would put them in the ‘sex pest’ basket. I would prefer someone with needs and expectations more aligned to my own. Conversely others who have different wants/needs should ideally have partners who match in this regard. I’d set both of you free so you can both find a partner that is a match.

I found it interesting you expect him to change his sleeping pattern to yours/normal during the holiday. Perhaps it would be more realistic to compromise. He isn't going to be suddenly able to stay up late and get up late our bodies don't work like that.

OK, how overweight and unfit is this guy? I know we're not allowed to comment on people's size, but if he has breathing problems, nods off and is overweight, then my moneys on diabetes. He needs to get this checked out.

It's a bit odd that @costakid doesn't want to engage with the point about her boyfriend's health. All the signs are that he has a serious health issue and if nothing else she needs to help him see a dr about it.

I think the OP isn't interested in anything people have to say. She wants sex everyday and that's that. Seems her poor boyfriend doesn't matter much.

@Maunderingdrunkenly

Her poor boyfriend sounds selfish as hell

by not wanting to have sex everyday?

I would say she was selfish as hell for expecting it.

I'd say its either his health or lack of compatability. My DP is 52 and I'm 47, we went away for two nights last weekend and had sex 3 times. We both look forward to breaks/holidays, which usually means lots of sex as we are more relaxed and less stressed
