I know someone who reminds me of him, and I did sort of fancy him, so I do find Dom a bit unsettling.

I've always had a thing about highly intelligent tortured artist types. I think I have an urge to mother them.

But, Dom is too extreme for me. I'm not even certain he is properly human tbh.

Oh, and Laura definitely fancies him. Or wants him to fancy her.

So I know a real life Dom alike. Have done for 35 years. Narc. Doesn't wash much. Poor teeth / clothes because he worked for the Treasury so he's not one of the Little People who has to bother. Not nearly as bright as he thinks he is. Won't amount to much. Subject to the same vanities / needs as the rest of us, just less interested in examining that so less potential progress as a human.

To be fair to Melania, she always looks - in so far as her face is capable of displaying emotion - like fairly quickly she came to regret that viewpoint.

As for Dominic Cummings, urgh. He looks like a Munch painting in human form which, given that The Scream represents unending existential horror, is remarkably fitting.
