Thread 2 - many thanks to @GAHgamel for the thread title. And to everyone else who has supported and advised me thus far.

I actually feel quite disgusted now that I ever had sex with him. He is loathsome 🤮

Don’t ask me why I’m remembering about sex with him at a time like this because I honestly don’t know 😯

Wow he’s a greedy fucking wanker. I mean I knew he was but just wow.

House, pension, CMS, the whole lot.

What a wanker.

DartmoorDoughnut · 22/06/2021 21:47

Glad you had a good holiday mind you!

RandomMess · 22/06/2021 21:50

But you never have to be intimate with him in any way ever again.

youvegottenminuteslynn · 22/06/2021 22:03

@R0SEMARY

YY that’s £5,500 disposable income. A mere 262 times my monthly disposable income on which I’ve to keep 3 Teens.

Or to put it another way, he has 99.6% of our joint income and I and the kids have 0.4%.

He says he has taken legal advice Hmm. I wonder where he has found a solicitor who is prepared to stand up in court and argue this.

I know we laugh at what a fucking fool he is but my god what an unbelievable cunt and awful father.
prettybird · 22/06/2021 22:55

That's shocking Shock

He's going to be brought down to earth, not with a bump but an almighty walloping crash bang that's going to leave a very deep hole Wink For a man who thinks that he is "the master manipulator", he's going to find that he can't manipulate CSA and the courts in the same way Hmm

Shaaaaame Grin

prettybird · 22/06/2021 22:57

Oh - and forgot to say, hope you have/are having a fabulous time with your lovely dcs and their friends SmileThanks

Justilou1 · 22/06/2021 23:08

You have a massive case of the icks and quite rightly so. He absolutely misrepresented himself from the beginning of the relationship. Pity you can’t sue men for false advertising standards. He’s so deluded that this utterly proves everyone’s narcissist assumptions. I’m guessing legal advice is from Steve at work who’s been divorced four times already, so he should know. (Or an incel group!) What a wankbadger!

Jumpingintosummer · 22/06/2021 23:29

Does he realises child maintenance alone will be in the realms of 15k a year?

Hen2018 · 22/06/2021 23:32

I got 70%. You’ve got more children than me.

(Just saying)

prettybird · 22/06/2021 23:40

You've bought him out of the house already, haven't you?

So even if he expedites the divorce to "get out of" paying spousal support (although he can't get out of child support Smile), he still has to sort out the "fair" division of the rest of the assets which include his pension as well as yours - and contrary to what he might think he doesn't get to decide what's "enough". The Court will Grin

PyongyangKipperbang · 22/06/2021 23:50

I can’t believe that he actually put in writing that he won’t support his kids until they are destitute.

Be very gratefull that he did, a lot of them are too clever to put it in writing but you have the proof right there to show to the court. He is, thanks to his own stupidity and your cleverness, going to be hung out to dry!

And yes, dont forget that his "maxed out" pension will form part of the financial settlement. His head will explode when an actual lawyer tells him that and not Dave-From-The-Pub.

@Justilou1 @PyongyangKipperbang you are right about the legal advice from Steve / Dave . I honestly can’t believe that any solicitor has told him that any of this will work.

And I quote

“I will pay my share of the children's maintenance into their accounts on a monthly basis. What you charge them for board and lodging is a matter between you and them.”

I asked him for the child maintenance using the governments calculator ( as I know his exact monthly income ). Apparently he thinks that’s the TOTAL amount to maintain them and he's going to pay half. To them.

So yeah, defo Dave from the pub.

@prettybird YY I think Dave forgot to explain about his pension. That’s his maxed out pension. It won’t surprise any of you to know that my pension contributions during the marriage were diddly squat. So he can have half of that.

OP posts:
R0SEMARY · 23/06/2021 00:32

I’m sorry if all this talk about money is annoying anyone BTW. I’m well aware that many women get nothing or next to nothing from the father of their children.

But the only reason he earns as well as he does is that I brought up his children and then our children practically single handedly as well as doing everything at home and working in our business. So I won’t apologise for wanting half of what we have jointly earned over more than 20 years.

OP posts:
Sunbird24 · 23/06/2021 01:12

And nor should you! He is 50% responsible for his children, he has a responsibility to make a significant financial contribution to their upkeep

Justilou1 · 23/06/2021 01:13

Also don’t forget that he told you that he married you to be a nanny for the daughter that ended up being a catalyst for the divorce in the first place. For a self-professed genius, the guy’s an idiot. I assume he’s texting this?

No it’s by email.

AcrossthePond55 · 23/06/2021 01:49

Good! it's all in writing then, including wanting his children to be destitute before he helps support them.

You know, there are lawyers who will tell a client anything they want to hear because they know they'll be willing to pay ££££ in legal fees to try and avoid paying ££ in support. And that same lawyer will shrug their shoulders and say "Whaddayagonnado?" when they're crucified in court.

A fool and his money and all that.

GAHgamel · 23/06/2021 01:58

Thanks for the update @R0SEMARY, but dear god, the man is a shitbag of the highest order. I don't think you should feel like you have to apologise for talking money at this point in the thread either, as it's not like you're rubbing your hands together with glee at what could be coming your way, just demonstrating the extent of his selfishness.

WindyRose · 23/06/2021 02:09

Words fail me when it comes to this poor excuse of a man, but you are doing well under the circumstances and are to be applauded.

It's good that he's making these horrible statements via email, but can I suggest that you keep a copy in a cloud account/external HDD or elsewhere, just in case your computer fails/is damaged etc so you don't lose these precious emails. So many 'things' could happen, if you get my drift, so please cover yourself in saving them.

Don't forget to look after yourself during all this upheaval. Flowers

Justilou1 · 23/06/2021 02:09

@R0SEMARY - BETTER STILL!!! (The guy’s an utter idiot, and it works so very well in your favour!😃)

PyongyangKipperbang · 23/06/2021 04:26

I am just amazed that a man who is such a witless pillock has managed to amass such a large amount of money!

@R0SEMARY

On behalf of all of us who didnt get what we earned in our marriages to these men, take this arsehole to the cleaners and when you do, raise a glass for us! I for one wont bregrudge a second (or a penny) of your happier life :)

youvegottenminuteslynn · 23/06/2021 05:13

Hahahaha he said all that in writing?! What a stupid, stupid man.

Exactly the type to represent himself in any legal proceedings too, which would be a joy to watch quite frankly.

I cannot get over the fact you have him saying such ridiculous and cruel stuff over email Grin
