This is light hearted post but I just wanted to hear if there were any stories out there where your partner/spouse went off with the OW and the grass suddenly turned to mud?!!
After being deeply hurt, I now find myself chuckling when I think of the ex (mid 50's) back to changing nappies and sleepless nights and telling his mother that he has no time for himself and cannot BELIEVE how expensive baby formula is!!
Most of his friends are driving sports cars and have grown up kids (like we also do) yet the only thing he's driving is a new double buggy ! LOL!

I clicked on the thread to enjoy all the stories of cheating men getting some comeuppance. Instead I've had to abandon it after 2 pages because if all the pissy moaning posts about it not being all men.

I watch escape to the chateau. I see no evidence of Dick regretting children at his age. I'm sure loads of men don't. But this thread is about those that have regrets or look like they're miserable etc to cheer women who have been treated badly.

If you don't like it, don't read it or even click on it. Take your butt hurt elsewhere. Start a thread of your own where you can all piss and moan in unison. Aka fuck off.

I'm still married to my 1st husband and he's younger than me, so no karma story there....but my dad cheated on my mum and she threw him out. He's told me it's the biggest mistake of his life. He's married (not to ow) and now retired. She's younger, about 15 years and still works, so he's spends most days on his own. (They didn't have any children together, but she had 3 young DC's of her own who have given him 100x more trouble than myself or my brother ever did). She doesn't like going out at all. It has to be a wedding or a big 0 birthday and in 20 years I think they've been on holiday twice. She wants to stay at home with him by her side, watching reality TV.
My mum on the other hand is travelling quite a bit with her partner of 18 years. Canada, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore etc. Had China booked for this year but for obvious reasons it didn't happen. My dad dreamed of travelling USA coast to coast. He's 70 in a couple of weeks. His choice.

Well said.

I think I saw all the deleted posts (and thankfully don't remember them well) and while I absolutely, unequivocally do not agree with what was said if I work hard at understanding I think the best I can do is that Jane was like an animal. Lashing out in anger, fear and pain.

Like an animal who would chew off their own foot to escape a trap or bite the arm of someone trying to rescue them.

So not a human (or humane) response but entirely animalistic.

The doubling down of her response was animalistic too.

Maybe having said it here, anonymously, the poster will be able to move on.

I hope so. tbh she seemed to be almost triumphant in gloating ... I think it sometimes has to be faced that some people choose to be very dark and malicious, even when badly hurt.

Malicious is evil intent. She didnt make any of it happen. Ffs. Please let this thread die and leave her alone.
