This is light hearted post but I just wanted to hear if there were any stories out there where your partner/spouse went off with the OW and the grass suddenly turned to mud?!!
After being deeply hurt, I now find myself chuckling when I think of the ex (mid 50's) back to changing nappies and sleepless nights and telling his mother that he has no time for himself and cannot BELIEVE how expensive baby formula is!!
Most of his friends are driving sports cars and have grown up kids (like we also do) yet the only thing he's driving is a new double buggy ! LOL!

Haaa hhaaaaa!!! Love it op

I’m giving 10 posts in before you get accused of not being a kind person because you are not sad for you Ex’s struggles.

petrocellihouse · 07/12/2020 13:14

The grass turned into a massive quagmire after only two weeks for an ex. Apparently, she didn't cook as well as me, and he missed nice food. Awh.... shame.

Bananalanacake · 07/12/2020 13:20

Well he should have used a condom, or did he actually want another baby, in which case say congratulations, (while giggling to yourself).

Yohoheaveho · 07/12/2020 13:22

I feel sorry for his child:(
he will soon shrug off these encumbrances and be off looking for more greener grass

strangertimes · 07/12/2020 13:23

Hahaha! Hope she’s making him do all the night feeds. Hilarious. I bet she has no idea how much he’s moaning. Enjoy your life OP. Make sure you put up fun photos on social media just to really rub it in. Remember, they’ve still got fun toddler years to come too. Hahaha!

Hayeahnobut · 07/12/2020 13:25

Is he unhappy being a dad? You seem to be assuming he's having a bad time, but many older dads love it!

OneRingToRuleThemAll · 07/12/2020 13:26

I love this!! It's like my ExH who now has six children, two of whom are babies and moans to me that he's skint. My (our) children are older and gaining their independence. I have both time and money. Karma does bite them on the bum!

MrsTwitcher · 07/12/2020 13:29

My so called "friend" had the bloody nerve to complain to me that my dh was unfaithful to her during their affair. I left them to sort their own shit out.

LegallyBlondeee · 07/12/2020 13:33

ExDP left me and DD for OW. OW got pregnant with his baby. She found out he cheated on her whilst pregnant and endless other times. So she packed all her stuff from their house INCLUDING the WiFi router and left him with nothing. Snarf snarf.

MrsVogon · 07/12/2020 13:34

My ex left me for a much younger OW who he worked with (he was mid-40s and she mid-20s. A few years on and through the grapevine I've heard that the OW is very controlling and jealous. To top it all off, their new boss dislikes my ex and seems to be making his life a misery. He's not the type to have the impetus to move jobs as he was such a lazy sloth, so he's now miserable on both levels.

Usually I would have no interest in how his life is going as I told friends I didn't want to hear anything at all. However they both work with a relative of one of my closest friends and they wanted me to know how miserable his life is. He definitely deserves it after what he did.

HosannainExcelSheets · 07/12/2020 13:40

Double buggy. Did the poor sod have twins? 🤣

cardswapping · 07/12/2020 13:42

No RL per se, but on the same train of thought, I can recommend the now dated movie She Devil 1989 wiki link.

Particularly like how the idyllic OW/H life goes wrong when they have to look after the kids.

I expect the writers knew a few RL people...

cardswapping · 07/12/2020 13:42

... who had been in this situation. Should I add.

That was brilliant. I remember watching that!

Karma is a bitch, innit Grin!
It takes a special kind of woman to fuck a married man.

Boopeedoop · 07/12/2020 13:44

@jemimathecat, can you get yourself a nice little sports car?

BexR · 07/12/2020 13:44

Ha! My ex got taken to the cleaners by the OW. Turned out she was a habitual gold digger. It's so poetic cos he treated me appallingly after I found out he'd cheated.

Crinkle77 · 07/12/2020 13:46

The grass is very rarely greener. It's all exciting at the beginning then they find it's the same old shit but just a different house.

I doubt it. What he’ll find is that he’s past his sell-by-date for another affair. That’s the irony of these situations, the cheater doesn’t realize they’re not hot stuff anymore.
LindaEllen · 07/12/2020 13:48

I broke up with an ex because he had zero drive and instead thought he would be better off with another woman who also had zero drive.

Now he's in a flat on his own (because she literally had no drive for anything - including their relationship - and moved back in with her dad) which is an absolute hole according to friends, he's piled on the pounds, has lost his car through not paying for it, got sacked just before lockdown so didn't get furlough pay ..

I don't actually take any pleasure in this, but fuck me, how can someone be happy to live their lives like that?

Ori3 · 07/12/2020 13:49

I don't give a shiny shit what other people think - I love a bit of revenge karma, serves the cheating bastards right. You make your bed you lie down and tuck yourself in. Same goes for women who cheat as well. People cheat because they don't like who they've become, but that's no excuse. I haven't been cheated on but if I was, that would be it, no second chances.

You only get one shot at some things and it always amazes me how people who have got it all, a loving partner, happy children, a home, decent sex life, stability and financial security - throw all this down the pan because they fancy a quickie. Mostly men - who go for women half their age. How stupid can you get!

WhatKatyDidNxt · 07/12/2020 13:51

Exh left me for another woman who was a friend of mine. He announced they were going to get married, have children and be oh so happy. Guess what, they can’t have children 😂. I know it’s cruel laughing at infertility but he shouldn’t have rubbed it all in my face or cheated on me with my friend

Yeah, they tell the Mum they do but they really, really don't.

HitthatroadJack · 07/12/2020 13:59

He might be a lot happier with a baby than a sports car though. For some men a baby makes them younger. I am not sure I agree with that past a certain point, but I would be the one pregnant and delivering the baby Grin
