Would you sleep with two different people in the same day?

I don’t mean a threesome.

Purely hypothetical at the moment, but I’m curious to know what people would do.

I only have every other weekend free due to childcare. I have a casual partner, and I’ve been speaking to someone for the past 6 weeks I really want to meet.

When lockdown is lifted (yes, I don’t it’s going to be any time soon hence hypothetical), I would probably see on of them Friday Night and the other Sat night. If I stay over (which I do with my casual), there would be morning sex.

So that’s my question really - would you have morning sex with one person and then have sex with someone else in the evening? I can’t decide if I think it’s fine or a bit weird.

So just to flip this a bit - if I saw one on a Tues, and one of a Friday, would they be more 'okay'?

Is it the having sex with multiple partners that's the problem, or doing it in the same day (safely, with a very long shower in between)?

I wouldn't without their knowledge - mainly because 'safe' sex isn't a thing imo, only safer sex.

Pinkarsedfly · 10/05/2020 13:34

I’m agog at these threads. I’m happily married now, but I’ve never had the opportunity to sleep with two men in a week, let alone a day.

Never got approached. I must be a proper munter Sad

Go for it, OP. Nowt like indulging your animal pleasures Grin

1forAll74 · 10/05/2020 13:34

Yes, it's fine, I was going to say, the more the merrier, but maybe two is adequate.!

slipperywhensparticus · 10/05/2020 13:35

When I was 18 I did but it was protected ie condoms and contraceptive pill so I covered all my bases

Lemonblast · 10/05/2020 13:35

In my current lifetime I wouldn’t have the energy.
In a previous lifetime though Wink

I find the comments along the lines of “especially if you’re a mum” really odd (and it’s not the first time I’ve read such comments on MN).

If you look at it the other way, I’m not interested in a relationship- my daughter won’t ever have to navigate new partners, blended families on my side etc.

ladymalfoy · 10/05/2020 13:35

James Spader before lunch then book into Claridge’s to freshen up and wait for Jason Isaacs. Then drinks in the bar ,a meal then, back to my room with Mr. Isaacs.

Lynda07 · 10/05/2020 13:35

Certainly not now nor since being committed relationship-wise.
Did when younger once or twice.

CanICelebrate · 10/05/2020 13:37

I definitely wouldn't.

clumsyduck · 10/05/2020 13:39

Umm I may have done this when I was younger . Wouldn’t be for me these days but meh
As long as no one thinks things are exclusive and you are being safe then go nuts girl.
Pun intended

HelloViroids · 10/05/2020 13:39

I think totally fine - and if you’d be fine with Fri night guy A Sat night guy B then I think the morning sex is neither here nor there, the sleep is an arbitrary construct to break them up that is not really necessary Grin

Needhelp101 · 10/05/2020 13:39

@pinkarsedfly, I'm quite sure you're not x

CrazyToast · 10/05/2020 13:40

I have. I didnt mean it to turn out that way and tbh I wasn't 100% sure if it was ok because of societies morals etc. But in truth it was a great day! Safe, consensual and lovely. So if you can keep it safe and consensual then there isn't any issue.

Vretz · 10/05/2020 13:41

@ChandlerIsTheBestFriend absolute nonsense. The point of the expression is perspective of self worth and respect. There is a point where a man feels uncomfortable with the quantity of partners and lose respect for the woman. There is also a point where a lock opened by too many keys means you don't respect the lock.

Needhelp101 · 10/05/2020 13:41

"James Spader before lunch then book into Claridge’s to freshen up and wait for Jason Isaacs. Then drinks in the bar ,a meal then, back to my room with Mr. Isaacs."

Can I join you for a threesome? Grin

Sorry - cracking myself up here. Lockdown is taking its toll!

Lavenderpurple · 10/05/2020 13:41

I think it’s gross.

BluebellForest836 · 10/05/2020 13:42

OP go for it. Do whatever makes you happy.

Iv slept with 2 men in one day a few times.

Iv also once slept 3Wink. That was a one off though

Toilenstripes · 10/05/2020 13:42

In my 20s on a foreign holiday I would have, but in middle age I would find it grim.

Needhelp101 · 10/05/2020 13:42

"There is a point where a man feels uncomfortable with the quantity of partners and lose respect for the woman. There is also a point where a lock opened by too many keys means you don't respect the lock."

Oh, good God.

The misogyny on this thread is astounding.

ElderflowerPotion · 10/05/2020 13:43

@Pinkarsedfly - don't be so hard on yourself! This was never an option for me in my 20s either. I was lucky to meet one person per year before my ex.

OP posts:
ThumbWitchesAbroad · 10/05/2020 13:44

I wouldn't but I've never had to worry about it.
But if I was sleeping with someone, I wouldn't be considering sleeping with anyone else in the same time period, however casual it was. In fact, I don't think I could do that anyway, so my opinion isn't really relevant at all!

MarieQueenofScots · 10/05/2020 13:44

There is also a point where a lock opened by too many keys means you don't respect the lock

Fortunately to open a lock one doesn’t need to know how many previous keys have been used 🤷‍♀️

rayoflightboy · 10/05/2020 13:45

Go for it,lifes too short.Enjoy it while you can.

policeandthieves · 10/05/2020 13:45

Logically it seems fine but in reality seems really grubby.
Same for men or women and would put me off a bloke
