Stag dos...

So I’m having a debate with DH about stag dos- thankfully his is well in the past!

However he was tasked with arranging stag dos for his friends and he went over board with arranging strippers- not just the standard club, but boats, airport transfers etc etc to include them! When I expressed my unhappiness over this - that I found it excessive and that a club is ‘acceptable’ to me, however trying to incorporate them in to every part of the trip seems obsessive and disrespectful to me and the other partners!

His reply is that it’s totally normal to have as many strippers as poss and that I’m deluded if I think stag do’s happen without strippers and that I’m unreasonable to basically have tried to get him to change the itintery to just include a club!

So help clear it up for me please! Am I a phsyco controlling bunny boiler or a woman who just doesn’t see the need for the men to have a stripper with them at every point of the day!? 🙈

Adrienne, your beliefs (if they are real and) are truly disturbing. Not only because you see women as something less than sentient beings but also because you pigeon hole all men into this catergory of ‘they can’t help their urges’
I agree with the pp who said they felt your relationship sounds almost abusive.
You also don’t seem to see that what you state you believe about men and the way you describe yourself and your husband and your ‘badges of honour’ due to being virgins when you met actually do not correlate. I find this whole subject a bit pathetic. As a couple , we have gone through certain situations which made us stronger and thankful for our friendship .
You of course have the right to suggest I am in an abusive relationship , I find it quite disturbing that you would make this assumption based on the fact my views are different to yours. Having been in a previous relationship where I was emotionally and physically abused over a number of years by a man who thought all women were worthless objects , this tells me your thought process is fairly limited. Its clear women like you will never see how trivial this whole subject is until it’s too late. I’m away to dig out some sexy underwear for later. Feel like degrading myself tonight . 🤟

Ex stripper here. Doesn't sound like he's hiring just strippers to me. Actual strippers only work in a club, it's their safe haven with doormen & the strict rules they enforce are adhered to. No strippers want to be 'spending time' with clients in the outside/real world. Your man has organised a shed load of party escorts!
