Other than the many many many pictures of men in cycling gear and holding fish, some of the profile cliches are just insane ๐Ÿ˜‚

โ€œDonโ€™t take life too seriouslyโ€ - ok, this is a rehearsal then?!

โ€œLooking for a partner in crimeโ€ - what does that even mean?

โ€œSchool of lifeโ€ - unless youโ€™re Oprah, nope.

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 02/09/2018 13:53

โ€œLove travellingโ€ - who doesnโ€™t ?

โ€œMy friends say Iโ€™m crazyโ€ - yea right okay then yawn besides who actually wants crazy? I know I donโ€™t!

โ€œHardly on here so message me on Instagramโ€ - oh sorry didnโ€™t realise you were such a big time celeb ๐Ÿ™„

Musti · 02/09/2018 13:57

'Some college ' I don't get that.

Also the ones moaning about women not messaging swipe left or using filters etc. I get that they may not like that but they sound like right moaners.

Anyone holding a fish or photographed in front of a car is a no from me

Beelin · 02/09/2018 13:59

Likes cosy nights in. Trans: tight, boring bastard.

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 02/09/2018 14:01

I canโ€™t stand the ones that get aggressive if you say youโ€™re looking to date (this is tinder btw so people use it for different reasons, I get it) but theyโ€™re so rude about it, โ€œoh good luck with finding that on here , tinder is only for hook ups โ€œ like they own the fucking app ๐Ÿ™„.

Beelin · 02/09/2018 14:02

Honest/sincere/trustworthy etc. What, this is a selling point now? That's just normal human behaviour. Plus, if you have to point out that you are, you're probably not.

Belletower · 02/09/2018 14:08

"Any honest women out there?"

I swear it's every other profile.

ALifeReloaded · 02/09/2018 14:12

Men of 55 wanting women 30 to 45.

Inexperiencedchick · 02/09/2018 14:14

Own hair and teeth ๐Ÿคฎ

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 02/09/2018 14:32

โ€œFoodieโ€ - who doesnโ€™t like food ? Itโ€™s kind of necessary to survive ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

accidentallandlord · 02/09/2018 14:38

Curling up on the sofa with a glass of wine. Impractical and likely to stain your sofa.

Dan89 · 02/09/2018 14:40

Women do most of the above too, you know...

Goldilocks3Bears · 02/09/2018 14:45

@dan89 join in and give examples. O know they do - one guy asked me where my yoga pictures where, like I was a freak or something. He said the cliche girls pictures are always yoga, group of girls at party, and the snapchat filters ๐Ÿ˜‚

ALifeReloaded A guy recently messaged me and his profile stated he only accepted contact from women aged 18-43. He was 44.

I asked him why and he got so defensive and snippy about it. Apparently he wouldn't really date someone young enough to be his child but he just couldn't ever see himself with an older person - not even one his age!

I found it a bit creepy really.

and yes Dan89 I would find it equally creepy on a womans profile.

LumpSatAloneInABoggyMarsh · 02/09/2018 14:49

Oh and the ones that say "my friends forced me to join" - well, clearly we are ok with making online profiles or else we wouldn't be here looking at yours so no need to justify it!

I really dislike the "will complete later" ones. Can you really not spend 10 minutes once you set up your profile filling this in? Are you that desperate to start searching for matches?

Djnoun · 02/09/2018 14:50

The people who say they hate drama.

Always makes me think they'll be the most likely to start drama.

ShotsFired · 02/09/2018 14:50

I can't stand the description "bubbly" about any woman.

There's something about it which sets my teeth on edge.

Also yy to listing qualities that are 100% minimum standards of human decency or interaction.

Onedayy · 02/09/2018 14:52

Yes to all the above.

So many say no drama and that rules me out straight away.

dragonflyflew · 02/09/2018 14:54

*House-trained

*No game players please

*Are there any normal women out there?

*No offence but bbw not for me

Oh and so many pics of guys in hi-viz. Or in a lorry cab. At work.

Not just in front of cars but actually sitting in cars too.
As well as the holding fish pics It's like they're at primary school trying to attract other boys their age.

I've also seen a couple of guys putting their finger in front of their mouth as if to say 'shhh'. Creepy .

And guys sticking their tongue out?! RRRRANNNNKKK!

So many men with their tops off or lying in dingy bedrooms or with the pc screen glare reflected on them or in their glasses, just makes me think of them sat in front of their computer wanking Sad

dragonflyflew · 02/09/2018 15:03

*here I go again

*does anybody read this

*My kids are my world (and variants of this...) 'if anybody doesn't like this then jog on

*My female friends tell me I'm ..........

*I give really good sensual massage

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 02/09/2018 15:04

When I was online dating I came across a guy who was 47 but had put his age in as 37 as he wanted to see younger women's profiles. He claimed this was a mistake, but he had 2 profiles, both with the same thing.
He had a very looonnng profile, listing all the things he doesn't want, no liars, no cheats, no fatties need apply etc.
He then went on to describe this completely made up story about a date he'd been on with an " obese woman". They'd been on this bike ride and she was on the back of his bike and she made the bike tip up and roll down the hill. But apparently her profile pic showed her 10 stone lighter. He then went on about fat women, women who swear, single mums, women who smoke, drink, don't work, women who are attractive but won't give him a chance as they're " up themselves".

He was vulgar, and obviously thought he was a massive catch and was going to meet a beautiful perfect woman on there.
He sent me a dirty message as the initial message, something about wild sex. I replied " no thanks". He then told me how crazy I was. He even changed his profile to write about the stuck up crazy woman who wasnt interested in him. Crazy because I don't want to sleep with you, an ugly, rude man old enough to be my dad? No thanks mate.

gggrrrargh · 02/09/2018 15:09

One liners, something like โ€˜donโ€™t know what to say ask me lolโ€™

I feel a bit sad for you that you canโ€™t think of one thing about your personality!

adviceonthepox · 02/09/2018 15:18

Loyal trustworthy man looking to settle down
Can't believe how hard it is to find a decent woman on here
Looking for a meaningful relationship with no arguments and no hassle just fun and commitment.
I love nothing more than being with my family and creating happy memories for my children.
I may be a bit biased these are all from my now ex fiancรฉ profiles he created while we were still together and me blissfully unaware of the fact he was meeting a different woman every week for a shag behind my back.

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 02/09/2018 15:20

Sorry that was typed in paragraphs but posted like that.
