Hi Ladies

Hope you don't mind, ive started this thread to save hijacking the thread of others.

I thought we could use it to attract attention of the other members if needed or whatever

OP posts:

lol toasted - you got nothing better to do again

grow up and stop trying to kick people when they are down. how dare you be so utterly insensitive and nasty to women who are already dealing with so much shit in their lives

sugar34plum · 30/05/2007 19:40

lol @ toasted. Do you think she was once the ow but is now just a dried up crusty old prune who was dumped for the wife many years ago??

mylittlestar · 30/05/2007 19:43

yes sugar definitely!

to be honest I don't know why her comments bother me as someone who is so bitter and twisted to be nasty on a thread like this, deserves nothing.

mylittlestar · 30/05/2007 19:44

I will write back later when I've calmed down. But basically pc I think you did what you can and you did the right thing.

As you say it's up to him now to prove it. I also worried that I would push him over the edge again so would hold back from saying what I felt, but that's what they want as you'll then be supporting them and putting them first again. (All about them!)

Easier said than done but try to stay strong this time. This has gone on for long enough. And the whole 'staying away because he thought that's what you wanted' is bullshit. My H does that too. Doesn't take a genius to work out that what you actually want is him there full time putting every effort into saving your marriage.

cc have known him a while through work. have agreed to go out but not sure it's what I want... not making me feel any happier at the moment that's for sure. But we'll see

Fubsy · 30/05/2007 19:55

I think toasted is a troll with nothing more interesting in her life to do - I dont think she's actually a mother, if she is Im worried as anyone that insensitive would make a crap parent.

mylittlestar · 30/05/2007 20:09

Kewcumber

wish there was a 'real life' part of MN where you could just put your hand through the screen and give someone a big smack in the face! now that'd make me smile!!

Kewcumber · 30/05/2007 20:09

Best thing paddle, like those mangy cats you get in greece. Big big mistake feeding them. They often have fleas.

mylittlestar · 30/05/2007 20:09

parasitical eco system all of their own.

Kewcumber · 30/05/2007 20:17

off to feed myself ladies (carefully ignoring the mewling cat) I'll come back and lurk on your thread later, cos my friend Paddle's on it and she's a nice normal person...

Paddlechick666 · 30/05/2007 20:18

aww thanks QC, normal is as normal does eh?

did you read the DHH update below?

Kewcumber · 30/05/2007 20:19

I'd completely forgotten about parasites (or course fleas aren't technically parasites... or are they? Will ponder that over dinner)

Kewcumber · 30/05/2007 20:20

yes - I think you did the right thing and can imagine how hard it is not to be "kind" to him but you have a lovely DD to think of (PS my mum thought your DD was lovely and she's not a big fan of other peoples children!)

Kewcumber · 30/05/2007 20:21

[deleted] I think toasted is toast

ernest · 30/05/2007 20:22

my God, did she come back??? How sad is that? She mustn't have any friends of her own to play with. I guess she needed a few days to think up some hilarious retorts. Anywy, glad you said 'yes' mls, it'll be fun. And good on you pc. Stay strong!

Back to my ironing now, will try not to think too much about Milan. Wonder what the Italian for 'no chance, mate' is?

Paddlechick666 · 30/05/2007 20:40

well, QC, your mum clearly has a great deal of taste.

methinks toast is burnt. blackened and carcinogenic and destined for the bin eh!

Fubsy · 30/05/2007 20:46

toasted has had the flamethrowers of Mumsnet Towers aimed at her

Shame I didnt get to see what her last posts were tho!
