Good for you, October. You really do seem to have the measure of him now. Stay strong!

Im here as well October. Can your sister support you as well? Are you worried about not seeing G? Might not be a bad thing.

LilyLoo · 10/05/2007 19:46

you feeling down today. I think a change can be good sometimes. Is G going to be moving with you or is this some apprehension on things changing on that level?
As for Relate i hope you don't mind me saying but i don't think they are going to be able to give you any answers. You really do have to do that yourself. If you have decided it's over no one can change that. Not even your Dh. What are your concerns if that was your decision? Is there anything that you are worried about that is about you and how you feel. I know the dc's and the money, house etc are all worrying but they are things you can work through. But you can't stay with someone for them reasons alone. You have to want to.

Do you not know of a suitable man ? preferably a Bradd Pitt twenty odd year old lookalike , that would put G in his place
I think they would have to offer you similair role wouldn't they regardless of being p/time as you have ds so they would be on sticky ground ?
Really don't know what to say r/e dh though. You just seem to me like it is over. Did the fact that you thought G liked you despite your own body issues make him more appealing to you? Does your Dh really want you to loose weight or is that your reason for not being affectionate with him?
(understand if you don't want to answer any ques) Have you initiated seperate bedrooms before ?

Hi D and everyone else -sorry I haven't had time to catch up with you till today. Congrats on your distinction - great stuff! What's the needlework course you're on? I toyed with the idea of doing an embroidery course some years ago but got divorced instead and didn't have the time/money . Have just got back to quilting a throw I started last year and feel better for being a bit creative again .

Sorry to hear about the changes at work - I can understand your misgivings. When my boss got voted into parliament I felt the same, after having spent several years working up at her home with just her dog and housekeeper for company, to moving to an office and having two guys over me as I wanted to stay part time & couldn't therefore be in charge. It took some adjusting but we get on great now, even though my line manager is young enough to be my son (just!), but we have some laughs and it's all very Yes Minister at times.

Glad you are so over G now - but sorry things are still difficult with H - it really worries me that he always seems nice to you when you're down. And what you said about him making friends with mainly women at work does seem to imply that he's insecure enough to need the attention.

Sorry, have to go now - dp needs to walk a little - still stiff after his op - and I've volunteered to go with him. We're getting on well at the moment and it's nice playing doctors and nurses (but with none of THAT element - not after a hernia op .

Catch up with you later and lots of hugs xx
