I've only had 1 or 2 unsolicited videos. But a few pics. I've blocked most as it seems they were polite online but then as soon as you move to WhatsApp, they get sleazy pretty quickly. I've learned to spot them fairly easily now.

Got one reply from a guy who said he is too shy to speak to me. Very strange. Have to wonder why he's on a dating website if he can't even bring himself to speak.
Another reply from another guy and we started chatting, seemed to be going really well & then received a message saying he thinks we're not suited. Fair enough that's his decision but it all seemed to be going so well, argh!

I never send out messages first,done once and got less than few replies ,see it as awaste of time . If they are active online chances are they will see you but decide not to pursue hence don't contact you first.

I think most of the dates I've been on have stemmed from me messaging them. Mr Spires was me messaging him. He came back with a quip said he'd read my profile and the unequivocal words: "I'm interested in you" but I only send messages three or four guys a month, if that.
