LOL at name OSEB. Very funny.
We're going to SIL's for Easter dinner.

Like SIL but we have to drive an hour in 2 cars cos we have to take MIL, and she wont fit in car with dd's. Plus DH wants to go over the night before so he can go out. Which I suppose is fair enough. He hardly EVER goes out. But I am cos I don't either and I get stuck at home again!!!

Car might get a puncture or something so I don't have to go!!!

What about you guys???

dionnelorraine · 03/04/2007 18:51

Hi OSJ
I remember chatting to you a little while ago about vet nurse stuff.
I really feel for you. i hope you are starting to geel better.

willywonkasEgghunt · 04/04/2007 21:46

Evening all! Belated happy birthday to mini-smelly-easter-bunnikins!! Did you do anything exciting?

LOL at your desire for a puncture Bob ! Can I assume that you'll be taking dc's in your car or do you get to drive MIL to the Easter dinner ?!

Work's chaotic after the fire but nothing that can't be dealt with. Does mean desk hopping though which is a pain in the rear. More importantly dd's temperature has finally returned to normal - it was 40.7 at one point and took four days to get below 39 without the aid of beloved Calpol. She was a real trooper throughout though and happily took up residence on the sofa in her sleeping bag.

I'm feeling quite giddy because bump has really begun to move quite a bit and dh was finally able to feel him/her today too . Am surprised at how excited I am considering the ongoing nervousness. Still don't know whether things will get more or less tense as the weeks pass but we're fine today and that's all that matters .

Off to the football on Good Friday & an egg hunt on Saturday but don't think we have any plans on Sunday (other than to consume obscene quantities of chocolate... ) If I don't get to speak to you before, I hope that you enjoy a wonderful Easter weekend

BandofBunnies · 04/04/2007 22:09

WW, had forgotten you were pg. (I have a terrible memory)

Lovely, will you find out what kind of lo it is???

No WAY will I be driving MIL. Not sure if going now as she is ILL. Very ill.

And he insisted on watching the girls at her house on my bday for 6 hrs. Aaargh, if they get ill again Imight Maim him. They are just getting over things AGAIN.

OSJ, that was a flying visit to the bar this evening.

willywonkasEgghunt · 07/04/2007 16:17

Hi guys, hope you're enjoying a nice weekend? We're just back from an Easter egg hunt today which, in this weather, was lovely. First picnic this year!!

OSEB, realised that you'd put next Tuesday for ds's bday so my previous post was premature. Are you planning anything special? Have dh's 40th next Saturday so have a few final things to sort out before then though our wigs & his skirt have now arrived (rock/pop star fancy dress)!

No, we don't plan to find out what flavour we're having Bob. Am obviously a bit curious have have no real need to find out before the big day, I kinda like the surprise element at the end of all that pushing...

Hope the weather is as glorious where you are as it is here. Speak soon x

BandofMothers · 10/04/2007 21:54

How's everyone.?????

willywonka · 12/04/2007 12:48

Hello! Don't reckon I could reasonably fly into any hormonal rage when I consumed two full size Easter eggs - THAT I HAD BOUGHT FOR OTHER PEOPLE'S CHILDREN !!!!!!! Have 'fessed up to one but still doesn't offset the overwhelming shame. Wouldn't mind but dh bought some very nice proper chocolate, it's just that I simply craved the Cadbury variety. (I'm a cheap date - still reckon that Buttons & Smarties eggs are the best you can get ). Boy, they tasted goooood ...

Dh retrieved the maternity clothes down from the loft this morning, a bit of an event really. After the sb last year, it was quite a thing to have to pack them away so it's great to see them again so soon . Other than that, am in the throes of final arrangements for dh's 40th this Saturday so a cake is in the oven as we speak and I have to make a few last phone calls.

Hope your ds's bday was a good'un OSJ? Any developments on the domestic front of is it much as was?

Speak soon !

BandofMothers · 12/04/2007 12:53

WW, is sb, what I think it is???

Buttons eggs are lovely. I ate most of dd2's from Grandma, she had a little bit. But to be fair, she is only 8 mths old.

willywonka · 12/04/2007 12:55

Hi BoM!! Sorry, thought I'd mentioned it before but dd2 was sb at 34wks last August. Is why this pg is extra spesh but in a subdued kind of way. Dd is mega-excited at being able to kiss bump all over again .

hi osj thanks for your support on my thread, especially when you're going through so much yourself.
you're a very special person.
give yourself some time and I'm sure you'll work things out. hopefully relate will help tonight. small steps. and you'll be ok in the end xx

BandofMothers · 14/04/2007 20:37

Sorry to hear that WW, but glad this pg appears to be going well (don't want to jinx )
DD1 absolutely LOVES dd2. Spmetimes a bit too vigourously

OSJ lol at you and ds's tea party. Glad you're doing ok. Dumping DH for MN every night is probably not the best way to strengthen the relationship

willywonka · 17/04/2007 19:05

Hello !! Had dh's 40th this weekend which I seemed to have been organising since for ever so was kinda glad to get it out of the way. That said, it was really good fun and though not as many people were able to make it as I'd hoped, those who did show were the important ones who threw themselves into the party spirit, so it really didn't matter.

Seeing the consultant tomorrow and hoping to find out whether, all being well, he would expect to induce me or not. Apparently some do and it may be dictated by some blood results I'm waiting on.

How did the last Relate session go OSJ? Did you find any benefit having had a break for a couple of weeks or are you now covering the same old ground? Out of interest, if you are covering the same stuff, does it help? (Forgive my ignorance, I'm just interested).

BTW BoM, we never did find out how your Easter dinner went? Did MIL make it...da da daaaah?!!

Hope to catch up with y'all again soon. xx

Hello !!

Appointment went well thank you and at the moment it would seem that I will (all things being equal) be able to go full term, so I'm really pleased

And you all - any news?

BandofMothers · 26/04/2007 10:40

Hi girls, saw you in bar t'other night but was not posting for some reason. Can't remember now why tho

WW, how's it going.

OSJ all ok with you 2???

willywonka · 26/04/2007 12:53

Hello!! Everything's good at the Wonka factory thank you .

Belly, bum & boobs each growing at a rate of knots with the latter causing no end of amusement for dd and dh (though for very different reasons ). Have made my first baby purchase this pg (a funky sling) which is quite a big thing as I had expected to wait until much nearer the date - not wanting to tempt fate and all that. However with bump beginning to get quite active, I'm getting that maternal thang going on!

Dh was very pleased with himself for picking up a tube of something for me from the Asda bargain bin the other day. It was bloody cellulite gel !!! Whilst I'm allowed to say that I have an arse the size of Western Europe at the moment, I made it VERY clear that this was not an acceptable gesture on his part. Came home with a bunch of flowers and two toblerone bars as an apology, claiming not to have read the label properly . Might get pissed off again if I'm going to get presents though

Anyway, I'll stop waffling and get on with some more cleaning (got to make the most of it whilst I'm in the mood cos it doesn't happen very often!!) Looking forward to hearing from you lovely ladies soon xx

BandofMothers · 26/04/2007 18:03

Ooh, WW. I love it when the baby is squiggling about before it gets huge and uncomfortable, and after the horrible sickness has gone. That lovely tween stage where it's all nice.
When are you due???

willywonka · 26/04/2007 19:18

Due 10 Aug. Think that makes me 25wks tomorrow? I'm so crap - really ought to know these things. Most people can tell you how many weeks and how many days gone they are

As long as you start to work thru it all slowly at some point so it doesn't reach crisis point again.

I'm okay.

Plodding along.
