Hideously, and unreasonably sexist of me - but I think men with pierced ears look absolutely ridiculous. Especially middle aged men!

SirChenjin - you have totally just reminded me of my friend's dh who suddenly had both a tattoo and his ear pierced. He was having an affair.

I think it depends on his personal style, for example is he a heavily tattooed biker and wants one ear done.

If he's a fairly standard dressing bloke then it's like trying to recapture his youth amd he will look a bit daft. But it is his ears.

A leather waistcoat will be next. Just say no.
