I've reported it for being full of arseholes. It's why I left again, and MNHQ really need to get on top of the nasty cunts on here!

I saw it too NoCapes - was just about to dive in to stand up for you but sometimes I just think fuck them ignore them. I find even some of the long term posters to be so unbearably judgmental. Best to hide a thread if people start pissing you off. Glad you're ok. Hope the kids feel better soon

Have to admit I was very close to ringing ExP today
For all his faults he was always very protective of me (I know I know, it was possessive not protective) but he was, and if anyone upset me or disrespected me he would absolutely tear them a new one (the irony isn't lost on me don't worry)

Today really brought home how much I used to rely on him to look after me like that

I saw your other thread this morning Capes, but I've been out all day and haven't read it since I got back; there are some nasty people in the world and a great many of them hide behind a keyboard and screen.

I've just said my piece over there, suspect we're all wasting our time though, the overzealous do gooder brigade are out in force. Why do people seem incapable of exercising any common sense these days? Kids off school for a day or two doesn't warrant this level of interference, it's intrusive and unnecessary and I'm not surprised them coming round made you anxious Capes. This kind of state meddling is part of the reason I home educate, I'm perfectly capable of raising my DC without any involvement from the government, as are you. I'm sure you're more than capable of deciding whether they're well enough to go to school without anyone checking up on you, bloody cheek
