Sorry I asked you all to be online then I wasn't bloody here myself Blush

All went fine, 3 polyps removed and a biopsy taken
I'm cramping a little bit now but I'm at Mama Capes' and she's taking care of me Smile (of course!)

ExP sent a few texts throughout the day asking how I am and for updates and that's about it!

Pretty uneventful update that really wasn't it BlushGrin

NoCapes · 29/09/2016 08:02

PrettyFly sleep is for the weak in my house, Ds2 prefers screaming all night to sleeping - tiz fun 🙄

But yeah feeling ok today, bit sore and I have a horrible headache (this headache is becoming a permanent feature lately) and I've run out of tea bags (!!!!!) but apart from that I'm ok
And in still in my pjs, Mama Capes is doing the school run today Grin

Are you drinking enough Capes? I get the worst headaches if I'm dehydrated especially if I've been crying and Wine doesn't count Grin

Glad you're still in PJ's same here and Mama Capes is so super!! You should definitely take it easy today and have some good food (chips sound really good right now... At 8:30... If it wasn't for the fact I haven't DTD in months I'd think I was up the duff Grin)

Mix56 · 29/09/2016 08:47

Your current state of stress, the newness, the challenges, the kids being ill, sleepless nights, plus not eating well, are likely the cause of your headaches.
Paracetamol & rest (cut out the wine!) will probably cure you.
Can you take time to sleep when baby has a nap?

NoCapes · 29/09/2016 08:56

Ha! I don't really drink, DS2 doesn't sleep enough for me to be drinking, love that you all think I'm a total wino though ShockGrin

I definitely don't drink enough though to be fair, or eat enough, although I could definitely eat some chips right about now too sky and I'm definitely not pregnant!

skyyequake · 29/09/2016 09:00

I think everyone just expects everyone to be on the Wine on MN... I don't even like wine!!

I don't drink enough either tbh, never have done, used to drive my DM insane because i would never ask for a drink she'd have to plonk one in front of me to make me drink! I'm trying to encourage DD to have better habits than me Grin

NoCapes · 29/09/2016 09:38

You sound like my DD, she never drinks! She can eat a whole meal and I'll have to shout her back to the table because she hasn't touched her drink
She went through a few months of having what seemed like permanent cystitis & UTI's, so now I'll say - 'what happens when you don't drink??' And she'll say 'Shock my wee burns!' And go and down her water bottle Smile

OP posts:
NoCapes · 29/09/2016 09:39

I forgot to add - you don't want burny wee wees sky - go and get a drink!

OP posts:
skyyequake · 29/09/2016 09:43

Haha funnily enough the only time I've had a UTI was when I was pg... And I was drinking 4 litres of water everyday then!

GiddyOnZackHunt · 29/09/2016 12:04

Glad yesterday went well and yes dehydration headaches/UTI are good reasons to keep the fluids up.
I do have another possible reason for headache. I get migraines after stress. Sail through the stressful stuff in fight mode and when it stops I end up with a migraine Confused We had an absolutely hideous long running stress a decade or so ago and when it was all finally over it hit. I remember whispering to DH to try to get him to bring me the hand drill so I could drill into my skull to relieve the pressure Shock. If I'd been able to move I would have done it Grin
So perhaps this is some reaction to the worry and tension stopping? Either that or you've cut down on caffeine and it's that.

Tote · 29/09/2016 12:29

I quite often faint a few weeks after very stressful periods!

Hidingtonothing · 29/09/2016 14:56

Have you tried Tiger Balm for headaches Capes? Fantastic stuff, apparently you can get it from Superdrug now, no idea if it's as good as the stuff the proper Chinese Herbalist shops sell but worth a try. A little dab on both temples and across your forehead, it will feel hot on your skin for a minute or two but then you get this sort of cool rush over your scalp and the headache just lifts. It's the White one you want, the Red is for muscle aches but is also fantastic. Glad yesterday went ok and hope you have a nice, relaxed day today to recover Flowers

NoCapes · 29/09/2016 20:50

My headache eased off in the afternoon, I think it's tiredness mostly tbh, ExP used to give me 4/5 hours sleep in the mornings each weekend and although I'm loving actually having a weekend now and not wasting most of it in bed, I think it's catching up with me losing out on that sleep
But I have been working on his sleep and he is getting much much better, it's just so relentless now - but I spose I need to get used to it ey!

Have to tell you all this, tiz just my luck - you know this night out that I'm going on tomorrow? My first night out in about 2 years?? Well DS2 whacked me with a TV remote yesterday annnnddd ... I have a black eye! Full.On.Shiner!
Like, seriously kid?!
