Oh dear! DD managed to scratch me once with her little claws fingernails and I had a dent in my cheek! She also gave me a nose bleed once my sticking her fingers up my nose and clenching her fist (I was asleep so didn't notice till the pain)

Bullies the lotta them!

NoCapes · 29/09/2016 21:42

Ooooo a fist up the nose sounds painful
DS2 is always beating me up, aggressive little bugger he is, but I've never had a mark or a bruise before
Great timing though ey! I'm going to whip out the Mac concealer on Saturday and hope it's strong enough to cover it ... Oh and hope the swellings gone down

GabsAlot · 29/09/2016 21:53

oh no bad timing eh-naughty ds lol

yep load sof foundation concealer should do it

skyyequake · 29/09/2016 22:17

I used to cover up hickeys when I was at school with shitty foundation... It wasn't perfect but close enough that to tell you that a decent concealer should hide 99% of the damage Grin

GiddyOnZackHunt · 29/09/2016 22:50

Witch hazel? Bring it out?

myfriendnigel · 29/09/2016 22:55

Or just do a dramatic smokey eye on the other one to match it up Grin

NoCapes · 29/09/2016 22:58

sky I never hid my hickeys, I wore them with pride Blush whore

Witch hazel on my eye Giddy?? You mad?!

Arf Nige I am queen of the smoky eye, however - It's a big semi circle under my eye, then there's a bright blue bit that travels from the very top of my cheek bone all the way up almost to my hairline - I don't think even I could pull that one off Grin

skyyequake · 29/09/2016 23:01

It depends who I got them off Wink and if I was going to see my dad

You could totally try a David Bowie tribute look Grin

BummyMummy77 · 30/09/2016 03:23

Arnica! It really works. Ds is always punching me in the face or whacking daddies massive tonka trucks at me and I've become a master at covering up.

(Ds is 3 and a clumsy toddler not an abusive 15 year old Confused)

GiddyOnZackHunt · 30/09/2016 09:19

Grin not on your actual eye obvs. Although questions about my sanity are fair game Grin

Mix56 · 30/09/2016 20:34

Arnica works but you need to use it pronto.,

Don't worry about it tomorrow, Just laugh it off...! (You can say, it wasn't you imaginary partner, it was your child of X age & laugh !)

myfriendnigel · 01/10/2016 07:29

Have a great time capes-you deserve it. What you wearing? Smile I went out last night too (on an actual date!).
Hope the eye has gone down a tad.

skyyequake · 01/10/2016 07:55

Oh yes its your night out tonight! How's the eye doing? Hope you have an awesome time Grin Wine

And how did your date go nigel?

NoCapes · 01/10/2016 08:40

Shock Nige spill!
The eye doesn't look good, it's all blurt browny yellowy, but no swelling so I'm just going to have to paint my face and hope I don't look too crazy
It's that or draw a lightening bolt around it a la Bowie (excellent suggestion sky Grin )

I've dug out an old pair of jeans that fit (I've lost nearly a stone Shock)
And I'm wearing like a sleeveless shirty type thing and Mama Capes bought me a new pair of heels - they're beautifulllllll, hang on I'll take a pic ...

NoCapes · 01/10/2016 08:41

Oh and ExP is coming soon and I look like this Hmm typical!

OP posts:
skyyequake · 01/10/2016 08:44

Haha I've lost weight too Capes I put it down to not needing to stress eat anymore Grin

My XP is having DD today too and I've got a raging cold so you're not the only one who's thinking "typical!" lol Grin

Your outfit sounds fab! Got to see the new shoes!!!

NoCapes · 01/10/2016 08:49

Oh no hope you feel better sky and don't sneeze all over knobhead or definitely do Grin

These are my shoes, they're kind of a khaki greeny colour, don't know if that really came across in the photo
And yes j know the skirting board is a mess but tbh it's the playroom so I dgaf Grin

Ooh they will look lovely with a pair of jeans!

Hopefully I'll give it to him and he'll have a miserable week Grin

Lynnm63 · 01/10/2016 09:25

Shoes look lovely, have a great night you deserve it. I miss wearing heels, I broke my leg really badly a couple of years ago and wearing heels like that was one of the casualties. Hope your eye isn't hurting at least.
You should market the diet although you've lost more than a stone of useless flesh if you count the weight of your XP. Grin

GiddyOnZackHunt · 01/10/2016 09:30

Those shoes are very pretty. You'll look lovely Smile

myfriendnigel · 01/10/2016 10:16

Love those shoes.
It went...well...Grin.

skyyequake · 01/10/2016 10:31

Way to be coy nigel! We want details Grin Wink

FeckTheMagicDragon · 01/10/2016 10:58

Want your shoes. Won't be able to walk in them - but I still covet them :)

I'm sorry about your eye - to cover up go to the opposite on the colour wheel - for brown/yellow it purple/violet I think.
I'm sure you'll look fab :)
