I've been away from Dp for a week with dd 2. It was only meant to be a couple of nights but she ended up in hospital for one night with an infection (absolutely fine now) so I went from there to my family as I knew he'd be working and I wanted some support. First morning home and he notices San pro in the bathroom and says 'oh ffs your kidding?!' Um no these things happen monthly and no I've no control over it Hmm. I said 'you are Joking right? He's not. He feels cheated out of another few days of sex because he knows I'm not up for it in the first few days. Not really an AIBU. Just a 'what a cockwoble' klaxon type rant. Agh and breathe.

Nothing more unattractive than somebody that's asks for sex and whinges about it- what a turn off!
Sex/blow jobs should be things that just happen with passion not " will you suck my cock as we can't have sex you've got your period"

No just No

I imagine this is quite overwhelming for OP to read if she's been wondering 'is it me or....?'

So, knowing what you know about this person, how do you see things going in future?

Are you going to just let him carry on treating you like this or are you going to change life for the better?

Doing nothing isn't an option is it?

Yuck, so unattractive. Does he know how revolting and disgusting he is? What a complete turn off.

Waaaah. Stop caring about the child in hospital. Stop caring about the exhausted mother. You don't have needs. Your child has no rightful needs either. It's all about MY COCK

Come on woman. Get it in perspective. Get down on your knees and service your man.

He's a first class prick

And it sounds like you are enduring coercive sex

Why do you tolerate this shifty behaviour ? At least you can't come back with "but he's a brilliant dad" because he isn't.

I was pretty fucked off with him in hospital but of course tension and emotions were running high. I'm not at all scared of him but just said it as I felt guilty for some unknown and absolutely stupid reason.

You said yes to giving him a blow job because you know he will take it out on you if you don't

That is coercion in it's purest form

He doesn't have to hit or threaten you directly but the outcome is the same

JenLindley · 21/08/2016 16:46

You said yes to save a row or sulking or whingeiing on his part. I've been there. It doesn't get better. No matter how many chats you have about it and how many times he tells you he'll try to stop being like that.

"I felt guilty for some unknown and absolutely stupid reason."

I felt like that through my marriage. He was a manipulator. The 'best' ones make you feel as if it's your fault. Agree with AF this is coercion.

He's a horrible guy
He needs a doll not a partner
He's not fit to be a partner

Why on earth is he so upset? Surely he's such an enormous cunt that he could just go fuck himself?

Please think about what sort of example this relationship is setting for your daughter. You need to show her that a relationship is based upon mutual respect and support and you'll only be able to do that by getting rid of this awful man.

Have you thought about getting some help for your obvious very low self esteem because I cannot for one second imagine you would allow yourself to be treated as basically nothing more than a sperm receptacle if you had any self confidence!

Sorry if that sounds really harsh but seriously why are you allowing yourself to be treated in this way?
And how on earth do Bring yourself to actually have sex with him? What a vile person he is!

Please do not allow this man to use your body. Sex is a mutual act, not when one person demands it.

My dh sometimes moans when it's my period, but that's all, a grumble. He doesn't demand sex but waits until I'm ready. He definitely doesn't feel it's his right to have sex because it's his right.

Flowers for you. Hope your dd is recovering well.

My god, the world really is full of men who sulk and whinge and rage and coerce their wives and girlfriends into unwanted sex, isn't it? I mean, I see it on MN all the time Hmm

I'm not going to dress this up by listing his good traits etc. He's a cock who's used to getting his way since childhood. He'll apologise probably if I bring it up but I'm getting pretty tired of this cycle.

I would be seriously falling out with him for speaking to me like that, if not rethinking the relationship altogether.

I think it was the whole hospital incident that shook me up. He made the right concerned noises but as soon as I mentioned I thought it'd be best for us to stay with family nearby the hospital it was all about him and why couldn't we come back straight away to him as he was missing us so much. It just completely lacked any empathy and understanding.

"Missing you" sounds sweet on the surface but it's not, is it? Sounds like a deliberate facade to control you. He's not being unreasonable, because he misses you, and who could criticise him for being such a loving husband?

Now, does he want you home with him because he wants sex, or does he generally dislike you being away from home?

Report
RatherSheepish · 21/08/2016 17:25

Why are you still with this man OP? He doesn't sound like a catch.

Really stupid advice to show an abusive partner a thread about them.

If you don't think something is a good idea, don't advise it.

Oh Smeagol Sad If you were a friend or sister I'd be helping you get out of this relationship very quickly. You really do deserve a life a million times better than the one you have now. Without hesitation I would choose to be single than be with a man like he is. He's a total cunt.
