Can pictures just appear

Hi, I know this will sound stupid but myself and DP run a buisness together earlier his mobile rang so I rushed to answer it. I missed the call but I know this is wrong I checked his phone he's always so secretive with it. I didn't find much but there was 3 pictures of his naked torso with 'goddess' wrote on it. I confronted him straight away he said "I think they're from ages ago, before we met, they must have just appeared" the date on the photos is from Friday. Can photos just appear in the wrong order? I realise how daft I sound.....

Probably an obvious question, but are you certain it's him in the photos. You mention torso but no head?

I only know about iPhones. The only way a photo would have Friday's date is if it was saved to the phone on Friday . So taken , screen shotted , edited and resaved or received in an email / texts and saved .

If I look at old photos , they just go back into the album with the original date .

Why is he so secretive with his phone ?
I'm not very technical so I don't know if other phone work the same way .

Ok, ok I know no need to be so harsh!
He said he remembers doing something like that before me but definitely not Friday, so he thinks it's him. He showed me all his messages and whatsapp nothing on there but I'm wondering if it's some kind of paid thing. I know he's into dominatrix I would imagine that's the kind of thing they'd get men to do.

Sometimes pictures you have taken earlier and deleted reappear after sync.

I have reappearing photos on my phone and the laptop, something to do with the time machine back up.

Hmm, he was obviously being odd with his phone for good reason. Of course there were no messages, he'd have deleted any. The photos may have been for an online thing, a paying thing, or to text an OW. But they weren't for you, or for any good reason. He's written goddess across at someone's behest, that's not good. Sorry OP.

You might be able to see if he's posted the photos online if you can download them somehow and put them into this website: www.tineye.com/

It's a reverse image lookup and will scour the net for exact copies of the photo.

But he could be on a private site or messaging her directly.

Does he have the messenger app?

My mum said to me a picture of my stepbrother she was sent via messenger, she keeps deleting. Keeps reappearing in her photo album whenever she goes on messenger. It's a new feature where everything is synced to your phone. You need to go into settings in messenger to turn it off. Could be that. Also had to show my dh how to turn it off as he had same problem..

If he modified the picture, like adding text etc then a new modified date will be registered but the original date would not be overwritten. Whatever he's up to, covering it up with a lie isn't a good sign. How is he getting his Dom fix currently, or is it supposedly in his past?

He hasn't got any apps just sky sports and super 6. He hasn't got Facebook, snap chat anything like that. I mentioned paying on a site he laughed saying he would never pay for owt like that he's too tight which he really is. I just wish he'd be honest

You can hide apps on android/ iPhones... Google will tell you how to hide them and make them reappear

He's not dominatrix mad he just prefers that kind of porn. I don't mind him watching porn but if it's gone further like to webcam or chat etc I don't think I could get over that.

theres the possibility he was just taking sexy pics of himself for fun and is embarassed to admit it? I had an ex who took some pics of his dick for no reason other than boredom and was mortified when they accidently came up on his phone when he was trying to show me something!!!

I agree with consensus, he's lying. Some apps can be disguised to look like something other than it is so do double check if he'll let you. Although, he's probably got rid of any incriminating evidence by now ☹️

Only if that's how you have Whatsapp set up.
