Gobsmacking isn't it. Some of the "chat up lines" I had whilst working in nightclubs were enough to make you sick.

daisychain01 · 19/06/2016 04:09

So was he just some "random" or had you met him in RL before this most overwhelming chivalry?

Sorry if I'm a bit slow, or else "dug up for the day" re how these things work nowadays.

monkeychop · 19/06/2016 05:31

daisy Oh no this was his icebreaker, his attempt to woo me, first contact, never met or spoken before.

I've had worse actually, but thought it might be good for us all to share our gems here.

starky really? You'd have thought in real life they'd be a little less brazen but fuelled with alcohol I guess would make them all the more charming.

Damnit! I just deleted an exchange I had the other day!

Telling me how his work was rained off, and he was at home in bed (daytime)

I said that he'd better get used to I cos with the weather report for the week, there won't be much work

His reply?
With this raging erection?

I said to him to feel free to delete my number as I'd be deleting his.

I got a lol in reply!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 19/06/2016 10:24

monkey over the years it's come from men who hadn't had a drink yet to shit themselves pissed. I used to think that alcohol made people more honest, but actually I think it just illuminates some people's vile personality flaws. Age seemed to make no difference either.

monkeychop · 19/06/2016 11:04

Oh Hissy he sounds like a charmer! Years ago flowers and chocolates used to be a way to woo women, these days its cock shots Hmm

Remember to screenshot next time and post on here....(delete the name I guess), although ByeFelipe seems to name and shame!

Starky just another way women are treated like sex objects, how awful for you to have to been subjected to that. I must say OLD seems to give them carte blanche to go crazy in this respect, they think as a single woman we are just dying to see their cocks, so vile.

monkeychop · 19/06/2016 11:05

Should have said delete the cockshot too, most defintely!!

Oh no, don't delete their names. If they're man enough to post offensive shite they're man enough to own it. Anyway, MN can delete if they don't like it.

JackandDiane · 19/06/2016 11:27

And you never know, maybe their mum or sister may see them!

OP posts:
WhatALoadOfOldBollocks · 19/06/2016 11:33

I can't remember the exact site mine was from Jack apart from it was a friendship and dating site that I tried for a bit when I was looking for new local female friends. Unfortunately I soon found that regardless of what I put in my profile I was only getting contacted by men, many of whom lived far from local to me! They just look at a picture and send a message, which really annoys me.

WhatALoadOfOldBollocks · 19/06/2016 11:39

"And you never know, maybe their mum or sister may see them!"

Well, I was very tempted to contact all his female relatives listed on his FB page but decided not to in case they were a bunch of psychos. I almost let him know I knew all about him but then thought it's better he keeps his real name on his profile and his FB settings open so people know exactly who they're dealing with.

WellDoYaPunk · 19/06/2016 11:45

There's friendship sites? I need that!

monkeychop · 19/06/2016 11:51

I think that is sensible Whataload there are some crazy-ass people out there.
Punk if you download Bumble there is a BFF mode for finding friends in your area. Not sure how well used it is but worth a try?

Bye Felipe a la MN
monkeychop · 19/06/2016 13:25

Hissy, I think some of them use it as a free brothel, shocking how forward they are.

OP posts:
WhatALoadOfOldBollocks · 19/06/2016 13:50

I wonder what he means by have some "fun", Hissy? Feed the ducks? Play scrabble? Spend a few hours on MumsNet? Grin

JackandDiane · 19/06/2016 16:15

Why contact all the women on his Facebook? Why are they responsible for him?!

Hissy · 19/06/2016 16:19

You know what Whata for the sake of mumsnet, next time I will ask what is meant by fun.

Now THAT will be fun...

StarkyTheDirewolf · 19/06/2016 16:37

I wouldn't hissy that'll be when they send a dick pic! Grin

Hissy · 19/06/2016 16:44

They can't send dick picks on dating apps...

Queenbean · 19/06/2016 16:46

Why does anyone bother to respond to these wastes of space? Confused
