Lots of anger from these guys when you don't immediately swoon at their advances. The entitlement is amazing.

PreemptiveSalvageEngineer · 20/06/2016 13:06

That happened to you, monkeychop? Sheesh...

monkeychop · 20/06/2016 13:46

Yep that was to me, this morning Preem, just another charmer who expects me to fawn over the idea of some precious time with his cock Hmm

Fake user... It's the Christian bit that gives it away... And he described himself as fit build where I'd have ticked the average/ few extra pounds. Bit of dodgy English.

I google searched him, came up with a linked in profile in USA...

Bye Felipe is sheer comedy goldGrin

WonderMomma · 21/06/2016 07:47

I think when it's strangers it's easier to tell them to f-off, however it's harder when it's people who you come across in person like colleagues. They try too, maybe not so directly but I've had a few try and just won't get the polite "no I'm not interested". I wish I had the courage to be so direct Wink

Hissy · 21/06/2016 21:12

Not Felipe, but hilarious and dating related:

Hissy · 21/06/2016 21:56

Another one... Another tack I take is to ask them for their wife's number so I can go out with her to help her find a good man.

Good come back hissy!
How did you find out he was married?

I blocked someone today. An executive from US who was in London lots, could do with company when he was here. I immediately asked if he was married he told me categorically that he wasn't married. Yet a simple Google search took me to his twitter, the bio of which read 'IT exec, husband, father and something, something I can't remember the rest '.....what a complete pillock!

It said so. First word on his profile.

"Married.

There, I said it. If you gloss over it and don't read it, not my problem"

Prick.

I was half tempted to say I'd post it on the Internet

Hissy · 22/06/2016 00:04

I have a feeling he's messaged me before

Hissy · 22/06/2016 00:09

Oh there was a cracking "view" on my profile last night! The guy waffles on and on and on
Some sort of Fuck as a name, it was hilarious

Hissy · 22/06/2016 00:17

Just got this one. Bless him, he's waiting for a response...

PreemptiveSalvageEngineer · 22/06/2016 02:58

"Hello sexy..." what are you, an 1970s T-shirt? Angry

monkey, I'd find his wife and tell her. That'll larn him to lie to British women! Grin

JackandDiane · 22/06/2016 07:22

(I am sure men can berate other men for it. This "what would his mother say" attitude is in itself so dated)

JackandDiane · 22/06/2016 07:22

Bah. Not dated. Meant sexist

SeaCreature · 22/06/2016 12:59

This thread is brilliant and just what I need as have become fed up with the rubbish messages men send me. I wish now that I kept some of them to post here. Yesterday's first message from a guy was simply 'sex now'. I didn't bother replying.

MrsSpecter · 22/06/2016 13:02

You'd have thought in real life they'd be a little less brazen

I think they forget theyre not behind a screen and theyre so used to pulling this shit on tinder or whatever that it is their default and they forget to censor themselves.

GeekLove · 22/06/2016 13:06

Might be worth searching for a series of cocktail pics so that for every cocktail pick y you spam their number with dozens.

Nothing wrong with that since they obviously love cocktail.

GeekLove · 22/06/2016 13:07

Cock even. How dare my Autocorrect bowlderise me!

MrsSpecter · 22/06/2016 13:16

I know this is a fun thread, and it is, i'm enjoying your responses to these assholes. But these men scare me. Not like i am afraid they will do anything but how brazen in their aggression they are. And they are scarily aggressive. Its becoming normal to expect hundreds of these types of messages on online dating. And people say "oh there are nice guys out there, persevere." I just cant anymore. Its all shit. I've been dipping in and out of online dating for almost 10 years and its so much worse now than it was at the start of those 10 years.

GeekLove · 22/06/2016 15:01

Bit late to the party but what is the significance of Bye Felipe?

MrsSpecter · 22/06/2016 15:17

I think it was a woman's response to an arsehole like those described above and for whatever reason their interaction went public and her response became a meme.
