It was music that started me off crying last night: The Specials were on TOTP2 and HE is from Coventry.
I was going to describe HIM as my ex but as I typed it I started crying again....so up and down.

Sorry that music causes such a problem for us all.
Hopefully one day we will be able to listen to our favourites without being reduced to tears.

We could have a network of mumsnetters that when we find out that our ex's are going away on their sordid weekends we can forward registration numbers, mug shots and description of accompanying whores to those in the relevant area. They can then don their spikiest stilletoes or biggest clod hoppers as the mood takes them, walk up to the halfwits, administer a kick and casually walk off whistling.
What fun we could have....

Evening all. Not totally alone Hush either luckily as have my three kids under 7 so the house never feels that still, until they go to bed.

One thing I am finding helps a lot is thinking about what I want to do with each room. It's amazing how little of myself seemed to be in the house before. Like, I've realised I'd like a radio in the kitchen. Small things.

Kirk, if I had been at that wedding I would have scoffed and heckled loudly (pissed up) at the mention of dick head ex.

I am glad that you have your children for company.
It is good that you have found something that helps you. Planning what you can do with each room to make it your own. I am trying to get my house or at least my bedroom sorted so I can have it as I want it. Not sure how long I will be able to stay here though!
I wanted a BOSE Cd Player/Radio but not sure whether I should buy one?
Well I better close as I am feeling quite tired.

Goodnight everyone , the film was funny but had lots of meaningful parts to it , a bit about how women as soon as they are single go straight into "dick sand "with other men , loving the attention and so needy so that a man to define her , she learnt and the end and went to find her authentic self ❤️ That's not us girls I won't be falling into "dick sand" on my lunch date on Monday , now we are eating chips and gravy watching first dates , who needs men 😘
