Hello all. I am alone now too. Husband cheated and I found out and then he killed himself. Like you, I am still mourning a future I thought I had (although I realise now I was terribly miserable with him and wasting my life waiting for him to start being a good dad and husband).

It's weird to be alone in the house. Been two months.

Good Evening dilys4trevor. So sorry for your loss.
It must be so raw for you.
I hope that we will find a better life eventually.
I am not totally alone as I have two dogs. But conversation is a little limited!
Thinking of you.
Take care x

Well done kirk. That's a difficult one to do. I went to a wedding last year and one of the hymns was the same that we had at our wedding. That finished me!
Did you have fun?

Report
Kirk123 · 19/03/2016 07:17

Yes thanks pisco , it was one of those days when I was levitating over my body to keep calm.

Good Morning Chicon, Pisco and Kirk,
Sorry about yesterday. It was just such a bad day all round.
Will try to be more positive today.
Glad that you joined in with the Baileys Chicon.
I am glad that you mainly managed to stay cool and calm at the wedding Kirk.
Music evokes so many memories doesn't it Pisco?
Well I suppose I better get my day started.
I hope you all have a good one! Xx

Have a good day Hush. I'm driving over to the Lakes today to drop some stuff off. Looks like it's going to be a good day for it too!

Today is a new day! It seems like rather a cold one. I was thinking about making Simnel cake. Last time I made it something went wrong with the marzipan and it all melted and flowed down the side of the cake. I stuck on little eggs and chickens but it did look odd! My Mum always made amazing simnel cake and so did my MIL - which was one of her very few good points!

Thank you WTAFF. I hope you have a good drive to the Lakes today. It is dull and damp here at the moment. Hoping it is going to brighten up later.
Have a good day xx

Good Morning Chicon. Yes today is a new day!
It is not very nice here either.
Good luck with the Simnel cake. Not the easiest thing to do.
I am sure the one you made before tasted fine.
Good luck with it xx

I know what you mean about music being so evocative. I still can't listen to three decades worth of the stuff. So that leaves me with the 70's (luckily I love disco!)
and the new stuff which of course is garbage because I am a gimmer!
WTAFF whilst you're around the Lakes why don't you go and kick kirk's ex for her Grin

Report
Chiconbelge · 19/03/2016 09:14

That's what I was thinking Pisco Grin.
