SquareRootOf314 · 15/01/2016 15:02

oh yeh, I reverse googled a man and it lead me to linkedin, he had phd in ''on line intelligence''. We had a bit of a chat but he didn't want to go out with me. Confused

eloquent · 15/01/2016 15:03

I wouldn't agree to that as a none bitch to be honest.

PrizeyPrize · 15/01/2016 15:07

Jolly I'm not sure I'd go along with that TBH, so you are like his drinking 'fluffer'....Hmm

I am going to try the reverse google thing later Grin

PrizeyPrize · 15/01/2016 15:08

Jolly organise another date (with another guy) to go on to afterwards and.... tell him.

JollyXmasJumper · 15/01/2016 15:13

Yeah if it were any other guy I would have had the feeling he is trying to get me to jump through hoops. But then he was really apologetic about it and I believe his story. (He is hosting these friends for the weekend)

But then again it is really cold and a night of Netflix and pampering sounds awesome to me lazy

Aargh. I told him I would get back to him later on. Any more voters?

Blush I've done that before. Organised a date for a couple of hours and then gone into a girls night out. Didn't realise it was a no no. I viewed it as making time to see someone. Precious time that I could have been glamming up drinking champers with the girls

TooSassy · 15/01/2016 15:17

Holding on he's hosting them for the weekend and leaving them to see you for a few hours?? Erm isn't that a good thing? I'd totally see him, but only if it wasn't a trek for me to get to date location.

RedMapleLeaf · 15/01/2016 15:19

Handy I'd be gutted if someone cancelled on me at this stage. I was also going to suggest putting some dancing music on. Go out, have fun and don't make it a late one?

Jolly no way would I agree to that.

TooSassy · 15/01/2016 15:20

handy is he good company and does he make you laugh? If so go. You'll come out feeling happier. If he's semi hard work and conversation doesn't flow quite as easily as you would like then reschedule.

Yay! Nearly the weekend.

Did dee ever come back and post and update? I didn't see one.

JollyXmasJumper · 15/01/2016 15:28

Yep Sassy it is exactly that!! Like you I also do the "making room in calendar thing" hence why I am confused as to whether this is a golden hoop for me to jump through or if it is 2h of his busy schedule that he cleared up for me.

Does it help if I say I was the one who suggested the date?

Haha re 'drinking fluffier' Smile wouldn't bother me, I am after someone who has plenty in their life. I am not someone's 'everything' no matter what Barry White sings...

Re my mojo and the date: it's a first date! So there's no way I can cancel. Or know whether he'll make me smile or want to slit my wrists! I am going... even if I do look like the un dead!!

And if he's a bore then there's always the MN loo update......!!!!!!! God it's literally ages since I actually went on a date!!!

Decided I'll get my sofa time by cancelling something I was planning to attend tomorrow.

HandyWoman · 15/01/2016 15:56

Fluffer not fluffier!!

JollyXmasJumper · 15/01/2016 16:04

Right, thank you all, Prizey you killed me with the fluffer thing haha, so I told him I would rather reschedule. Let's wait and see what he comes up with.

Nothing like a little bitching for an instant ego boost Grin

PrizeyPrize · 15/01/2016 16:08

Grin I'm here all week Grin

Nice one on the rescheduling....well done Jolly

PrizeyPrize · 15/01/2016 16:12

Handy go go go!!! I bet you enjoy it! Looking forward to loo update!

JollyXmasJumper · 15/01/2016 16:12

Oh btw I owe you all an update as I went to grab coffee with MrPassingThrough earlier today. It was nice but there was no spark on my end. I think he really wanted a free city tour guide. Bleh, nope.

HandyWoman · 15/01/2016 16:18

Oh well Jolly - nothing ventured nothing gained....

Would it concern you waving ??? H's prolific acquisition of female fb friends? It's not just the number of friends. I have friends who have that many fb and it's just that they're very well liked and they send requests. It's more that of the 62 added in 2015, almost ALL of them were female. I thought he was gorgeous to me and I'm getting a shock here.

I wish I hadn't snooped.

handy it'll be fine! you still have sat & sun to hunker down in pjs with the central heating on full blast and netflix playing.

PrizeyPrize · 15/01/2016 16:42

waving his torso was blinding! haven't blocked him just yet in the hope he sends another one Blush

Jolly well done on giving MrPassing a go, sorry it wasn't fruitful but at least thats another frog down

HandyWoman · 15/01/2016 16:43

Waving am ok, thanks. Think I might delete all of her texts/emails from Monday's frenzy of insane messages. Just clear her the feck outa my inbox. Going to pretend she doesn't exist for the time being.

Next sat is joint birthday party for the other 2 of the 4 of us (the 4 of us have been like sisters for 25yrs). My other friends will not create any drama but it will be good to get that out the way. Still, no need to think about it now. MrTiles will have my attention for this evening.
