Wiping away a single tear, I go to open the door, dreading that it might be ex-DH. As I tug at the newly-fitted chain, a hand shoots through the widening gap and fastens firmly upon my wrist, as a shrieking fills my ears.

"You BITCH! YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM, HE'S MINE!" She screams, wildly, as she swipes at me with a..... sausage?

She crumples to the floor. "He loved them," she sobs piteously.

As I gaze upon her bowed shoulders, something in my heart breaks. For her. For me. For all women.

We cry together.

ShatnersBassoon · 09/06/2015 18:07

I guessed troll from the get go. Who conducts a sordid affair by email? Seriously, it just would never ever happen that way this side of 2002. How inconvenient and clunky, and the trail of evidence...

I love this continued story Grin

TealFanClub · 09/06/2015 18:08

It was the ' I can only eat fruit right now' that got me ...as if we reach for fruit!!!! in times of crisis

DumbledoresKnobblyWand · 09/06/2015 18:09

DD1 was devastated, as you would imagine. When she was all cried out I gave her a big hug and made her favourite dinner - spaghetti hoops on toast, it always makes her feel better. We cuddled on the sofa for a bit watching trashy TV.

This is all just so unfair - WHY did he have to do this to us?

TealFanClub · 09/06/2015 18:10

no NO NO NO

she cant eat hoops on toast

SHE IS TRAINING FOR RIO

OP posts:
workingtoohardmum · 09/06/2015 18:11

Plus was a tad tired of hearing about her oh so perfect life ...

GinSoakedBitchyPony · 09/06/2015 18:11

And then Lovely Friend called round aso we all cuddled on the sofa a bit more. But then DD2 had to go and do her AS exams that finished last week so we all made sure to maintain our dignity for a week.

PoorNeglectedBike · 09/06/2015 18:13

Op you are so brave and strong. I am in awe. We're here, holding you close and shamelessly place marking for the next dramatic instalment

Valsoldknickers · 09/06/2015 18:13

Genuine non-hairy handed Mumsnetters you are the loveliest and most supportive bunch though Flowers

ChannelingFlop · 09/06/2015 18:14

Spunk on my bouquet! Ha! This thread makes my emotional over investment in the last one TOTALLY worth it Grin

MsVanRein · 09/06/2015 18:14

Oh damn I missed this all! Last I saw OP was ringing her solicitor or something. Can anyone fill me in?

MrsFruitcake · 09/06/2015 18:14

My trolldar was tingling from the start, it all seemed just too far fetched. And you to wedding dress being the total wipeout giveaway.

AlternativeTentacles · 09/06/2015 18:14

I couldn't visualise/auralise what noise the lady with the husband inside her would be making that could be passed off as a cat. Meeoww...purrrrr...???

MostIneptThatEverStepped · 09/06/2015 18:14

Oh I just posted on the other thread my late 80s wedding dress is hanging about in my room currently, pouffy sleeves, massive floppy bows and all...but in best 80's style it was dupion silk rather than taffeta Grin

ChannelingFlop · 09/06/2015 18:14

Pleeeeeease don't delete it

MrsFruitcake · 09/06/2015 18:15

DD was, in fact weeping, at the fact that she appeared to be trying to sit her exams two weeks in arrears of the rest of the country, so I've just popped into her college on the way home from the solicitors, and was able to sort it out.
