Hello, tis me, Mouse

Welcome to the Bus. It's a Bus full of drinkers, non-drinkers, occasional slurpers, sneaky sippers, we're all a very different bunch but we ALL have the same thing in common.

Alcohol.

We all have a story or two to tell, we have all been through some terrible times, some more than others and we all have our reasons for drinking or even not. Smile

The one true wonderful thing about this Bus is that we don't do judging!! We're all on a even playing field, no matter what has brought us to this thread.

So, if you'd like to talk, then talk. If you want to lurk and see how we work for a while, that's cool too :)

The Bus is never full, there's always is room for YOU.

And, if you'd like to see what started this off, amost good 5 years ago now, have a look at A TRULY AWESOME HEARTFELT THEAD HERE

And our last thread is just here too for those who would like some more history THIS IS WHERE WE'VE JUST BEEN

Hope to see you soon :) xxx

fevversbetterout · 21/04/2015 19:13

You are right Sweet I am bonkers. Last post i called you Fevvers (WTF?) IsindeI am in Asia and it's way past my bedtime. I do live next door to the buffalo girls. Sweet said I could blab about her pup tonight, but i think we've all moved on....

Yes, I am a serious soldier ogler...today I was at Stirling castle. Next Tuesday I am at a reception in Edinburgh castle in the evening.....chaps in formal uniform. Oh boy!

dementedma · 21/04/2015 19:29

is indie I want that green dress!

fevversbetterout · 21/04/2015 19:35

Buff , I'm not quite following what you said there (throwing shapes), and if real life Buffs ain't your thing, it doesn't matter. Ah, thankyou google. It's Neneh Cherry, no? I'm so ancient I was thinking Buffalo Girls by Malcolm. Anyhoo, despite the best efforts of my husband, I will be AF tomorrow. I'm four hours ahead of you if you are in UK. I'll hold your hand, hen x

fevversbetterout · 21/04/2015 19:36

Ma that dress is totally you!

Buffalostance · 21/04/2015 19:44

Fevvers sorry about the confusion!

Dinner eaten, children fed. Am sobering up now, sorry. Will be back to my normal self again soon.

Can I just say that I want that dress tooSmile

fevversbetterout · 21/04/2015 19:59

Buffl, I think we all need that dress!

HandsThatDoDishes · 21/04/2015 21:13

Crap evening. I've fallen at the first hurdle. Floods of tears in front of the kids Sad.

spanna41 · 21/04/2015 21:16

Sweet Pongo?

Beaches Windy Bottom

Buffalo Welcome lovely and well done for chucking it away and stopping Smile Enjoy your tea and try and drink loads of water before you go to sleep. x

Hands I totally agree with Sweet. What a lovely son you have x You need to be focused so that you can support him (and her) Easier AF than being hand in hand with WW x

Fevvers Grin

April glad you're back. One day at a time. It's quite a realisation when you really realise that there is no 'off' button Smile

Ma your day sounds lush Envy

Joey how's your day been?

Khalasi Grin a man who cooks, sound lovely Smile

I'm knackered again, but day off tomorrow Smile Mindless TV watching again who cares if it keeps me away from the bitch Have a good evening all you lovely Babes x

dementedma · 21/04/2015 21:16

hands falling is ok. Its only not ok if you dont get up and keep trying. What's up babe?

spanna41 · 21/04/2015 21:19

Hands x-posted. Babe it's ok. You have alot to think about and going on is there any way that you can stop now and chuck the rest down the sink?

SweetLathyrus · 21/04/2015 21:42

Spanna

HandsThatDoDishes · 21/04/2015 21:43

I'm having a cornetto instead of another glass of wine! DS has said that even if the pregnancy isn't ectopic they still can't keep it as they hadn't planned for a baby and aren't ready yet. My head knows he's right but my heart is thinking "that could be my grandchild - we could look after it". DH says I'm being ridiculous. I've had several miscarriages in the past and I think the whole situation has opened a massive can of worms. Hopefully things will seem brighter tomorrow xx

SweetLathyrus · 21/04/2015 21:45

Well done Buff

Hands what Ma and Spanna said. Take a deep breath, make yourself a hot drink. Another glass would only make the tears flow more.

SweetLathyrus · 21/04/2015 21:47

Sorry, x-posted. Cornetto is good. It's really tough but the wine will have made those feelings more raw. It will ultimately for DS and GF to decide.

aliasjoey · 21/04/2015 22:19

Worry. Drink. Worry. Drink.

Feeling better lately, so now unsure what to say to GP. Appt tomorrow.

Anxious about work (new technical stuff which I struggle to understand... And just as I grasped the first bit, boss asks for more.) conversation yesterday literally went from "so, you're fit to return to work? Good, I need you to take on this new task"

sweets is pups name 'Dangermouse'?

Buffalostance · 21/04/2015 22:37

Hands you sound like a lovely mum - whatever happens, your son is lucky to have you.

Thanks to all for welcoming me onto the bus. Will draw a line under today, get over myself and try again starting from tomorrow.

Sweet is pup called:

Bagpuss?
Shaggy?
Mr Benn?
Mary?
Mungo?
Midge?

Night all x
