Odd night so far as H didn't come home BUT I have no idea if he's downstairs or not. Daren't venture down there just yet. I was a complete bag of nerves in bed last night, my jumpiness wasn't helped by all the distant fireworks going off outside and me thinking it was H downstairs!

He phoned me at 10 past midnight but I didn't answer so that he thought I was asleep.

It could be he's here but asleep with dd1 or on the sofa, or stayed out for the night? He could have worked through the night and be coming home to go to bed for the day? Don't know. I'll know more when I pluck up some courage to leave the safety of my room!
