Helloboys- gosh recanted to be that! He was just an unemployed ex matlow who spent all his redundancy pay out on some wanky holidays and comics. He was great company for a while but I need someone who has their shit together a bit more than that!

Blossomflowers · 21/03/2014 19:15

Evening everyone, Well Mr SA has just texted me to day he is not going to come to see me because work is manic, to be fair he is officially supposed to finish @ 10 so could be just that. Have not replied yet, should I?

scornedwoman67 · 21/03/2014 19:24

Evening all
blossom he's being unfair texting this time on a Friday. I'd be tempted to wait til 9 or so & say 'oh, yeah sorry just as well really- I forgot you were supposed to be coming over. No worries' Smile

Blossomflowers · 21/03/2014 19:30

ha ha scorned if it was one off not really a problem and I have given him a couple of opportunities to say ifhe has changed his mind about me. He always denies it saying he loves our time tog. Just come back from a funeral today so would have been nice to have company.

scornedwoman67 · 21/03/2014 19:51

Sorry to hear that blossom
Have some Wine and Cake x

Blossomflowers · 21/03/2014 19:57

Yea already on Wine ha ha, you know if I had to bet he was not going to turn up I would have been in the money. So not dissapointed and not that bothered his loss as I have said before. Just wondering how to respond really, kind of like your idea.

Queenofthedrivensnow · 21/03/2014 20:04

Last minute cancelling makes me feel rubbish. I suppose we all have to do it sometimes though

scornedwoman67 · 21/03/2014 20:07

I was just annoyed on your behalf. I think it would do him good to think that you're not that fussed.

Blossomflowers · 21/03/2014 20:09

queen I know but he has form for being generally rubbush at contact,he just seems to not bothered and makes little effort. But when we are together is totally lovely, he is a head fuck tbh. Just not in the mood for that right now.

Queenofthedrivensnow · 21/03/2014 20:11

Blossom I have met too many blokes like that. It just boring after a while and ime these type of blokes have issues about relationships Hmm

Blossomflowers · 21/03/2014 20:16

Queen I think you are right. He has been separated for 3 years, still not divorced. spends every Weekend with his daughter. And works horrible shifts which does make it difficult, so I just carried seeing other people.

Solasum · 21/03/2014 20:22

Hi all. Can I join you?

Have just put up my first OD profile (well, 2 days ago) for my first relationship after the one that gave me DS. So far all but 2 of the people who have contacted me have been in their 50s, 60s, and even 70s (gulp). I am 29. I am guessing my wonderful 'baggage' may put off younger men?

Blossomflowers · 21/03/2014 20:30

Hi sola which site are you on, you can filter people out on most.

scornedwoman67 · 21/03/2014 20:31

Hi sola
its quite common! For some reason men seem to think that when they hit middle-age they suddenly become uber-cool studs who are irresistible to younger women Shock
Don't take it personally!

Solasum · 21/03/2014 20:33

I can just imagine my mum's face if I turned up with a 'boy'friend who is a decade older than her. :)

lovearts I have said preferred age 30-40, but it doesn't seem to have put them off!

chairyhin · 21/03/2014 20:46

Hello all,I really can't keep up with this thread Smile,so just a little update from me.
Soldierboy who I matched with on tinder only last Saturday, well I met up with him on Wednesday and had a fab day Grin, then I got a text last night to see if we could meet up today,so all is going well so far, bearing in mind he travels almost two hours each way also.We just seem to get on so well.
So all you tinder virgins give it a bash it's worth it.
Happy dating all.

scornedwoman67 · 21/03/2014 20:48

excellent news chairy
Have fun tomorrow!

scornedwoman67 · 21/03/2014 20:49

Oops...you saw him today!
It's been a long week Smile

oldfashionedgirl · 21/03/2014 20:52

Sola - I am 28 and used Plenty of Fish so there is a 14 year limit there. Did end up seeing someone right on the upper edge of that though!

LizzieBelle · 21/03/2014 22:01

shell dont Well, what a fool I have been. My friend put up a fake profile and Mr Cute messaged them!!!! WTAF!!! This means he has paid to be on the site - it's not one of the usual sites either - you have to pay to send and read messages.

Im going to see him again and then tail it off. I can't deal with this ATM, and with all the problems this relationship has thrown up too, I feel used :-(

scornedwoman67 · 21/03/2014 22:18

I'm so sorry Lizzie
What an utter pillock.
You don't need to confront him- just get your friend to message him saying 'Lizzie says hi'
Flowers for you xx

LizzieBelle · 21/03/2014 22:27

My bad scorned Im not going to waste any money paying to honeytrap this pillock

Let him have his midlife crisis and regret that he lost his not so bad girlfriend

scornedwoman67 · 21/03/2014 22:31

Of course. Forgot you'd have to pay to respond. Similar thing happened to me a few years ago. He claimed to not know what I was talking about. Like you if it happened again I'd just walk without a look back. Make sure he knows that you found him out though. I'm so sorry.

LizzieBelle · 21/03/2014 22:46

I cant bear the confrontation, what a wuss :-(

dippinmytoe · 21/03/2014 22:53
