I couldn't buy a "You are the best Dad" type card, but found one with a little girl pulling a grumpy face, with the words "As it was Father's day, she thought it was only right to do an impression of the miserable old sod!

Hi, Beetroot Sorry I had to dash last night.
I am a lot better than I was this morning. My parents are not making things easier though.

Got very upset this morning because he mentioned how he heard the brown eyed girl song in a pub he was in. This is the song that was played on our wedding video.

Yes you are right, beetroot. It will be better when he is not around, as this bit is painful.
I know I will still have my parents thinking Iam awful though, but will have to try my best to ignore as much as possible.
