All daters welcome here.

OP posts:
Scrazy · 06/04/2013 16:56

Hi I'm back. I will see him again if he asks, which he has loosely but we live quite a distance for dating, a night out wouldn't be out of the question. Kinda warmed to him and if nothing was to happen I could imagine him as a mate, this is unusual for me.

KinNora · 06/04/2013 16:57

He was told last night that my children have to be silent during Dr Who - it's The Law and also avoids the 'so why's he doing that/who's that/I thought he was dead ' type comments.

Knicker-burrowing will be dealt with using ultimate sanction.

KinNora · 06/04/2013 16:58

'Kinda warmed to him' sounds pretty good Scrazy

Scrazy · 06/04/2013 17:02

Yes, he's nice Grin. No height fibbing either.

JulietteMontague · 06/04/2013 17:06

Hold hands during DW, without the ability to pause and rewind? I sense this won't end well Grin

OP posts:
Snapespeare · 06/04/2013 17:19

:). No-one talks during DW. It is the law! :)

Movingforward123 · 06/04/2013 17:24

Well I've just spent the day walking around central london with exp and dd which I found boring and now I feel irritated! I want a date with a hot new guy!

MirandaWest · 06/04/2013 17:32

Everyone has been talking too much Grin.

Have read everything but seem to have not taken much in. Have been doing going to theatres (two different in two days with XH and DC one day and Mr Nice the next day, both of which were good) Was slightly amusing when having pizza with XH and DC that he tried to pay and his card was refused. I paid :)

On the topic of people being nice, mr Nice is unsurprisingly nice. Isn't complicated, says what he means, there's no game playing. We both talk to each other if ever stuff happens that either one of us has a problem with. Is good.

Having looked back at old emails I mentioned love without actually saying it first but he said it first (both of us knew he was going to though). Was romantic and in fog Grin

I need to mark darned exam papers. Urgh.

JulietteMontague · 06/04/2013 18:06

Kin perhaps Software should be led to believe that chocolates are the price to pay for being allowed to watch DW with you way to your heart. The knicker diving sounds dreadful, as if that is going to do it for you. I have visions of him coming out of your en-suite unzipped, nylon yfronts* straining only for you to have to tell him to put it away before it gets cold. Please ask him what sort of software Software does, if he mentions Unix that would explain a lot.

*I have experience of this, the passionless ex with no interest obvs.

Scazy result! Grin

I'm on bus back and little tipsy! He was a nugger but a typical solider Grin not complaining though!

Was better then pictures and got on great. Ended up back at his after a few drinks. Think he feels a little used though as I had to go as mate was still in town! I forgot about her.

He said to let him know when I'm home so he knows I got there ok. Dont know if will hear from him again but I actually feel ok with that.

SPsFanjoTheBigStickyHaribo · 06/04/2013 18:12

Nutter&*

WarmFuzzyFun · 06/04/2013 18:20

Oh I am pleased SP Grin

Oh bloody hell Doctor Who is on....[drool emoticon]

Scrazy · 06/04/2013 18:21

SP, used?? What did you do to him Grin quick work if it's what I am imagining.

I've had the lovely to meet text, so that's nice.

Scrazy · 06/04/2013 18:22

I'm not allowed to drop and pin when Dr Poo is on in this house either. Yawn, sorry fanatics.

SPsFanjoTheBigStickyHaribo · 06/04/2013 18:45

It was quick work. It just happened tbh. Haven't text him yet either. He was probably saying that to be polite Grin

WarmFuzzyFun · 06/04/2013 19:26

Quick work but good work I hope.

Flipper924 · 06/04/2013 20:14

I will indeed, Nora. I have a gorgeous dress from the Aubin and Wills closing down sale, and will be getting hair cut and coloured the day before the wedding. May also get my nails done, but that depends on how they are at the time. From the discussions we had during the hen weekend I know I will be well supported. I will also be (hopefully, it's all a bit random still) mid-cycle, so very flirty Grin.

Hotel sounds lovely. Hope Mr Software behaves himself.

SP and Scrazy, very different speeds of dating, but pleased for you both.

I missed DW! Hadn't realised the time, so is Sky+ed for Friday. No spoilers, please.

Flipper924 · 06/04/2013 20:15

Oh, and I couldn't get the holiday skin lotion today, so I have the Garnier version instead. Does anyone know if it's any good?

Scrazy · 06/04/2013 20:26

Yes Grin. I don't tend to rush in nowadays. Mine was a non alcoholic first meeting with a little peck on the lips. We are going out again, this one will involve alcohol.

OhWesternWind · 06/04/2013 20:44

What did you text back, Scrazy? Do you think another date's on the cards?

SPsFanjoTheBigStickyHaribo · 06/04/2013 21:11

Its not something that happens often Grin I text him eventually and he replied so that's a start!

I have no expectations so if it leads to more great, if not least I enjoyed myself Grin

Did you reply scrazy?

KinNora · 06/04/2013 21:18

Just sent Software off as I was falling asleep. Behaved himself during DW apart from girly handholding, had clearly decided the knickers were a no-win situation so focused attention on breast-wrangling instead. Meh.
Suspect Showbiz will be well practiced in the art of luuuuurrvvve and that didn't cross my mind once, nopey nopey nope nope.

Juliette just looked at his work site, and amongst all kinds of weird stuff it did say Unix.

SP hat off to you, you fast worker.

Flipper excellent news, I hope you go flirt crazy. I've not used either body lotion but there is a Sainburys one in a yellow tube ( can't remember what it's called but it is a blatant rip off of Soap & Glory marketing ) it's got a very slight golden glow to it and is very flattering, like that Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse if you've ever seen it.

KinNora · 06/04/2013 21:25

Dirty Works

OhWesternWind · 06/04/2013 21:33

So Nora maybe a repeat with Showbiz? Shame on Software sending you off to sleep tonight. Did the home-made present put in an appearance at all?

Bant were you off out on the town with CootGirl tonight or am I getting confused? Good luck if you are!

Miranda how's the marking going? My parents were teachers and I used to do marking for them when I was a girl and I loved it! Can't imagine that happening now . . .

KinNora · 06/04/2013 21:46

OWW Showbiz wanted to take me out for lunch tomorrow but I'm traveling back to my parents' so we're going out on Friday night instead. No, so sign of my homemade present but he did bring me a really beautiful bunch of flowers, he's very sweet.
