thanks lubey. i just went to work as normal. he is doing some work in the place next door and we started waving to each other through the windows. all very juvenile and i feel like a school girl but he seems lovely so far only text/ fb chat but fit as anything

I think he will be horrified when he realises that he's put your relationship with him into jeopardy but Ike and Lubey and Juliette have all made really valid points, on the whole he enhances your life, he loves you, you love him.

Western, I think he's behaved really badly and completely selfishly. I'm so sorry he's let you down when you needed him, and when he had offered his support.

Going completely off radar and getting plastered I can understand. Going home in a foul mood having a few drinks to get over the stress of the day, and then suddenly realising he was meant to be seeing you, and in the stress he had forgotten, and sending you a drunken apology, I could understand that too.

But getting a bit pissed, and prioritising that and posting on FB to contacting you in any way at all is pretty poor form.

That's not to say I don't think there's a way back from this, but I think he really will have to go some way to redeem himself.

Western honestly, I wouldnt. I don't think in his current mood/frame of mind/being slightly pissed etc he will even take it on board.

I would draft it, save it, and depending on what he comes back with tomorrow possibly send all or part of it then.

For me, it's very important to know that my voice is heard by others, so I wouldn't send it now, because I would want only to send it when I knew it would be seen, understood and (hopefully) acted upon.

Hope that makes sense.

And please don't worry about being self obsessed, it was established about 20 threads ago that I am the queen of whiny self-obsession Grin, you have an awfully long way to go to catch me up!
