I just knew in that case I didn't want to make the phone call the next day saying I wasn't going to see her again even though the sex was nice. Just too much hassle and pain. Let's just keep the title simple - 'The dating thread part 483' or whatever it is now. I think with so many in-jokes it does make people apologetic when they first post, which you don't get on other threads, I think. This is about everyones experiences, doubts, worries, successes and failures. In jokes tend to make people reluctant to join, I think - no one wants to be the one who doesn't get the joke everyone else is laughing at.
