'Date Night' is just starting on film 4. Never seen it, but it seemed appropriate to mention

Date Night would be good, shame I don't get any of the movie channels. I've been watching The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (in Swedish)...feel like I need to wash my brain. Taped all 3 but feel a bit like I did after reading the book. Couldn't stop watching/reading but really don't want to carry on with the other two, it's just too grim. Need to find something light and fluffy to cleanse myself with I think!

Nomore I know what you mean about feeling bored with OD. It stopped feeling fun and started feeling like a bit of a slog. Which is why I am on the sofa at the moment.

Geocaching is cool Snape. Specially urban geocaching where you're more likely to be muggled. Also, 'tis great fun.

Yoga - I've only been doing it for a couple of weeks now but just don't think I will find anyone!!! Maybe I am asking for too much. But then you feel bad for dropping your standards to find someone that you know you won't even like!

I'm not that fussy btw but just want them to be reasonable looking, be funny/ keep me amused, intelligent, have a reasonable job! I seem to be attracting lots of oddballs at the moment!!

What is geocaching?

Oh and Juliette - 'nice' is just a general level of, well, niceness. It's above 'meh' and below 'lovely'.

Not everyone who is nice is sweet, however, that's a judgement of personality, behaviour, looks. Sweet beats nice. I don't think, from the one meeting, that CabinCrew will turn out to be sweet, that's something you see from the get-go. She didn't come across that way in her profile, or texts, or in person.

ShoeGirl may be less attractive than CabinCrew, but her personality seems sweeter and I go for sweet.

Stunningly attractive, sweet and nicely quirky all in one is possibly too much to ask for

Well (for the benefit of those not on my FB) my Ex has just asked who I'm leaving my money to in my will.

Shock

I was called 'sweet' by a tutor on a course once. I laughed. In his face.

Is therefore decidedly not sweet! :)

We were discussing me buying him out of the house (for what he thinks is a bargain price - it really isnt)

He said well, the house will go to the children eventually won't it? You're leaving it all to them in your will?

The temptation to tell him to go fuck himself is immense.

Meanwhile, Spaceman appears to have similar issues to Cuthbert....

I'd like to be sweet but fear I'm not really - I think I like to swear too much Grin!

Finally told my folks about my tattoo. Dad said it was lovely, mom said she was sorry. I remember now why I don't often share with her.

Shagathons..? Envy

Bill - I'm having difficulty finding them! I've moved onto match now and having slightly more success.

I'm starting to think I won't find what I'm looking for online!!

BantaBaby · 01/01/2013 21:53

Oh someone can be sweet, but still swear like a trooper. SurreyGirl was sweet and told me her favourite word was 'cunt'. And somehow she was sweet while she said that.

Eye of the beholder I guess.

Hotbut was originally hotbutdim but that was unfair. He isn't dim at all, we are just polar opposites in our brightness.

Found on POF, I had an intimate encounter profile, saying exactly what I was looking for - tall, muscular, attractive man wanted for regular friend with benefit set up with emphasis on friend. He was the only one out of hundreds that got it. Never smutty, never crude, stays in touch even if we don't see each other for Coffee, evenings consist of hours of talking and drinking with Coffee at the end. A true gem, he will make someone a lovely lover and partner some day

NoMore - online dating isn't a quick solution. It's just another method. It works quickly for some - and maybe in a lot of those cases it works quickly for those willing to settle for the first offer that comes along.

I could be living with the Artist by now if I wanted to wake up one morning with broken legs and strapped to the bed settle. I don't. The first girl I met for a date, we got on. She fancied me very obviously. I didn't really fancy her.. So I keep looking.

If men as wonderful and gorgeous as me are out there, you'll find one soon enough :)

Mmmm methinks Bant wating to shag SurreyGirl senseless is the reason why everything about her was sweet....
