How many men / women have you slept with?

Assuming you can remember that is.

Today for the first time ever I counted and it is 14 / 0*.

I am 35. This is just under 1 a year since I became sexually active (started late...4th term at uni). I'm not counting youthful messing about, I mean full sex.

This doesn't seem so many to me and obv its going to depend when you became monogamous anyway. But, I have seen articles that suggest a much lower figure, eg 7 for men 4 for women.

Am I a bit of a slapper (which I would be fine with, I enjoyed it) or are all these people just lying? I think the latter, because judging by who I have spoken to 14 is much more typical than 4.

Oh there have been quite a few women as well, maybe 10/15? Haven't done anything for ages now though; lack of opportunity and (for some reason) being menopausal has made me lose interest in actually going on the hunt. But I find it really rather weird that some people have only had one partner in 20 years or so. I sometimes think that this may be an important reason why so many women seem to lose interest in sex and/or have lower libidos than their husbands - he's actually rubbish at it and you've nothing to compare it with, so you think that 'sex' isn't all that, really. (I am quite aware that some people who only have one partner get lucky the first time and their one partner is a good sexual match for them, but it's luck more than anything else).

Dh was my 19th, I was 22 when me wet. 0 women!

Not in the least , I slept with My now DH on our first date and had sex on our second. Back in the dark ages, neither of us had condoms just in case.

To whoever said they were sorry for women that had only slept with their husband -Please don't feel sorry for us! I don't care what other women do but from my point of view I love the fact that I have only ever slept with my husband whom I love very much and have done for 14 years since I was 20.

I dated this boy in college when i was 17. Didnt sleep with him. 18 months later i had an affair with his dad (who was divorced) i was seeing him 18 months after i split with his son. The exes father cared about my orgasm but i later found out he was also chasing the married woman 2 doors down so i know what you mean. But i was only 18 then and thought differently to the way i do now. If i was in this situation again i would just treat it as great but casual sex and just make sure it was safe.

I'm 26. No 1 was my DS's dad. Got together with OH when I was 18 and DS was 9 months. OH and I split up but got back together 2 years ago. The other 2 were in between splitting up and getting back together with OH.
