Today for the first time ever I counted and it is 14 / 0*.

I am 35. This is just under 1 a year since I became sexually active (started late...4th term at uni). I'm not counting youthful messing about, I mean full sex.

This doesn't seem so many to me and obv its going to depend when you became monogamous anyway. But, I have seen articles that suggest a much lower figure, eg 7 for men 4 for women.

Am I a bit of a slapper (which I would be fine with, I enjoyed it) or are all these people just lying? I think the latter, because judging by who I have spoken to 14 is much more typical than 4.

I started at age seventeen. The one who took my virginity (my boyfriend) seemed to have left some behind. We split ( I didn't like the sex with him, not that I told him). Between the ages of eighteen and twenty I had five sexual partners, then met my daughter's father and had her at age twenty two. We split and I took a conscious break for about a year and then got back on the wagon until I met another partner at age thirty - thirty two. The split was amicable, so I didn't do any "soul searching and got back on the wagon again ( again, I had lots of fun). I met my recent ex at the age of forty and we were together for nearly two years and considering what he did and what he is , I think my downstairs region has shrivelled into a raisin. Thank God I got to have fun when I could. My"nature" isn't as strong as it was. Or maybe I am a bit more picky. Mind you I am going on a date on Thursday ( a "daytime" date). Hopefully this guy isn't a plonker as my garden needs watering even if I am enjoying my present status.
No women. I'd say about forty men ( without having to think about it too much). I love good nookie. It's the great leveller.
