Thank you *watch8. Give low carb and pilates/yoga a try. I guarantee your stomach will disappear. And it actually gives you the feel good factor, hence me wanting to now share my body with a man Grin

oh! you do NOT look 47!

(but you dont!)

Snapespeare · 24/04/2012 14:59

& cream dress is a wow. must buy dresses

PostBellumBugsy · 24/04/2012 15:00

Love the dress Time - was trying to think of something other than classy to write, as that is what everyone else has said - but it really is just that.

ChaoticAngel · 24/04/2012 15:00

I have a problem with heels too Grin I don't drive so use public transport a lot which means walking, consequently I don't wear heels often so when I do I have to put them on and practise walking around in them for several a few minutes before I feel confident enought to be able to walk in them.

Poppa good on you. I have a dog and walk her every day but it's only at a slow pace so doesn't really make a difference. I do need to look at my diet and start doing a bit more exercise that actually produces results.

sponge definitely as little as possible, although having said that sometimes leaving a little to the imagination is good Wink

watchoutforthatsnail · 24/04/2012 15:01

im already low carbing :) i have pcos so have to eat low gi else i balloon. I also loose weight incrediably s.l.o.w.l.y on 1200 cals a day im lucky to lose 0.5 lbs a week. damn pcos.

if classy is youi look, stick it with. Somewhat scruffy is my look and i tend to rock it. If someone wanted glad they wouldnt be with me :) and you dont look 47 at all.

TimeForMeAndDD · 24/04/2012 15:02

Grin Thank you Snape!! Grin

I don't feel it either, that's where the confusion is starting to come in with clothes and what I can still get away with.

And yes, buy a dress, it completely changes how you feel about yourself and how you act when you wear a dress. I love them. And they are so easy and comfortable to wear so you look nice with minimal effort. Tis fab!

Time you really don't look 47 at all and you have such a lovely pretty face and gorgeous smile too. I depend soley on MN for style advice these days in s&b, that lot really are fab with everything from head to toe.

Weighed in again today and it's now officially two stone loss :o

and fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck it's tomorrow and I haven't had time to go and lose another two stone get a tit lift and botox and a spray tan and everything waxed and roots and nails done.

My house will be like a home salon later!

TimeForMeAndDD · 24/04/2012 15:04

My daughter has PCOS Watch. You already use My Fitness Pal don't you? I've found that to be a godsend.

And thank you Smile Hair consultation on Saturday! To start off the new look, hopefully!

Well I am a little confused. A certain male never mentioned anything when I wore my slightly sexy all too revealing dress yet when I wore my skin tight jeans and a top he noticed but ny make up was fresh as in finished as he pulled up, and hair all done. He noticed then and complimented me. So next time its skinny jeans and a top. No dress for me. But always heels......they supposedly make you better in bed. Lol.

MyLittleMiracle · 24/04/2012 15:07

I also have PCOS too, diagnosed at 19 and part of the reason for ny user name. I struggle with weight loss. Going out in a moment to buy that dvd and start exercises tonight. So I will be doing done form of exercise every night.

Snapespeare · 24/04/2012 15:09

oasis? hmmmmm.

watchoutforthatsnail · 24/04/2012 15:15

i did read that if someone with pcos works out they will burn 4x less cals than somoene with no pcos... which is handy and all. and again someone with pcos loosing 10lbs is about as much effort as it takes a non pcos to lose 50lbs. meh - doesnt mean i dont try though :)

im on mfp - its handy....

and LUBEY!!!!!!!!! its tomorrow morning!!!!!!! :) :) :)

Snapespeare · 24/04/2012 15:22

just signed up for 'oasis'. blimey you certainly get what you pay for there. I'll leave it 24 hours before I delete

How long now watch?! are we playing countdown? Grin

watchoutforthatsnail · 24/04/2012 15:26

4 hrs 20 mins.

:)

watchoutforthatsnail · 24/04/2012 15:30

ok - i need help on how not to be a dick when i open the door.
what can i say/ do , that is open and friendsly, but not pouncing on him?

at the pub, i was here before him, and walke dover when he was chaining up his bike and said ' what no cheese hat? im very disapointed'
which was a ref to a pic he sent, and funny i thought, and he knew it was me.. and missed the awkward ' hi, how are you shit'

currently i think all i would do when i open the door is go ' sssqqqquuueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee' which might not be the right thing to do :)

TimeForMeAndDD · 24/04/2012 16:07

Thank you post, sorry, I missed your post! Smile

Chaotic same situation here. I'm thinking of getting some of those flats that you can fold up and put in your bag for the walking part of a journey, then wearing the heels once there. It seems to be the trend these days Grin

Thanks lubey, I spend a lot of time in the style and beauty section too, it's lethal! Grin

Snape I signed up to Oasis a couple of days a go, I don't like it. I haven't been back. I know we complain about the men on POF but at least the site is straightforward, no gimmicks.

Watch Just open the door and smile. That will be the hardest part over and done with. The rest will flow just fine. Or answer the door wearing a cheese hat, just to break the ice Grin

OP posts:
Snapespeare · 24/04/2012 16:11

agree with time ... you do have a cheese-hat in your wardrobe, yes?

watchoutforthatsnail · 24/04/2012 16:12

i know. Honestly, i dont know whats wrong with me :)

PoppaRob · 24/04/2012 16:13

Maybe something minimalist and demure... like the airport scene at the end of Love Actually where she leaps up and wraps her legs around PM Hugh Grant?

Snapespeare · 24/04/2012 16:17

oh. my. god.

the fake profile PM and I set up for my ex flatmate has got a message, from a LOVELY looking woman, she'd be ideal for him.

now what do i do? I hadn't quite thought this far ahead....

Snapespeare · 24/04/2012 16:20

3 hrs 14 minutes btw...

noluck · 24/04/2012 16:21

Watch you could pretend to faint and hope that he will let him catch you...

MyLittleMiracle · 24/04/2012 16:24

Just say hi, let him come in, and offer a drink. Simple. It's what I do. Well to everyone, its makes them relaxed.

watchoutforthatsnail · 24/04/2012 16:28

snape - tell him :) how exciting.

i know, im just being rubbish. i have lost any ability to function like a human today :)
